Someone asked to show the differences between the two Quarian Corvettes, so here a little Overview.
During the second half of the 22nd Century the Quarians employ two types of Corvettes inside the Migrant Flotilla. The rather lighter Scout Corvette which were also used as civilian transport or as a fast surveillance ship, and the Heavy Corvette, a military grade ship made for combat.
Corvettes are typically small frigates, crewed with less than 30. It is traditionally the smallest class of vessel considered to be a proper warship.
They are not meant for deep space missions because they are dependent on constant refueling and restocking. These ships dont have shuttlebays or crew quartiers. Usually they leave the mothership for a 12 to 16 hour shift, then return to base to switch with another crew.
Corvettes where mostly used for protecting larger ships but can also be used for multiple roles, such as torpedo bomber, boarding party insertion, missile defense, customs enforcement, law enforcement, reconnaissance, and surveillance.
Cela class Scout Corvette:
The Cela class is the lightest spaceship in the Quarian fleet that is viewed as an independent ship. It is typically used as a feeder ship between the cruisers in the fleet to transport individuals or important cargo. It is only lightly armed and, from a military point of view, is often compared to a large gunship. Cela ships are often launched as scout ships from larger mother ships within a system. For example, in the orbit of a planet where they are supposed to scout the surface. With their armament, the ships are not capable of endangering capital ships, which is why they should never be used in major fleet battles except for screening and intercepting incoming missiles which could endanger the flotilla.
Praigor class Heavy Corvette:
The Praigor Class is a military grade ship that is used as a police ship within the quarian flotilla. They are part of the Patrol Fleet inside the Quarian Flotilla, managing navigation, internal security, and intership conflicts or crimes. For a ship of their size they are relatively well armed and can even pose a threat to cruiser size ships. Although they are not as manoeuvrable as the Cela class corvettes, they are equipped with heavier armor and a faster FTL drive. The Praigor Corvettes are armed with defensive GARDIAN lasers as well as with offensive SWORD lasers, which makes them excellent hunter killers. The Quarian Flotilla needed these fast corvettes to defend the civilian fleet against agile pirate forces such as Batarian Gunships or Vorcha Void Fighters. They are able to intercept larger swarms of missiles or squadrons of fighters. In times of war they are assigned to guard the Heavy Fleet's flank.

Whenever I see these adorable or amazing pixel artworks, I really want to do them myself. And you have no idea how often I tried it over the past years, but always failed :'D (except for the pixel icons) but look at them!! I finally found my own way of creating pixel art. I'm so happy and proud of how they turned out! (Avarus in his default standing pose, it's the best to experiment haha
