Remember that stuff that has happened is now in the past, and no matter how much you want to go back and change it, you can't. The best thing to do is move on and accept it. Look towards a brighter future and don't dwell on things that already happened. It's fine to occasionally glace back, perhaps to remind yourself of the progress you've made, but never look long enough to go backwards instead. One of the reasons why I chose to photograph this quote on a road during foggy weather is to symbolise how even though you can't see the future/road ahead of you, it's important that you keep going, no matter how uncertain things may seem.
The past is in the past - keep it there and move on.
