I do continue to watch SGU, not because I like the show but for a number of other reasons, in order of importance:

1. Stargate franchise got me too involved with 10 season of SG-1 & 5 seasons of SGA, so I keep an eye on what's going on further.
2. See the epigraph.
3. Since the first half of the first season it gradually became less irritating.
4. It IS a Space Sci-Fi show and I like Space sci-fi and don't like any of the current Space-related shows.

Apparently for a sci-fi show it does not have a lot of action or events at all. I believe I already said before that drama was always the weakest part of the previous Stargate shows, but it was OK since they were action shows, yet when the creators decided to focus on their weakest spot as a base for a new show, it evoked doubt which was well confirmed when it started airing: the show was dull, uneventful and none of the characters were even likable, so there was nothing to...
