Dornbirn is a town in the far western Austrian region of Vorarlberg. It is the administrative center of the Dornbirn district, and also the main center of the Austrian textile industry. Other economic activities include brewing, manufacturing electrical machines and generators, and processing iron, wood and plastic. Dornbirn is the largest city in Vorarlberg and the tenth largest city in Austria, it is also the largest city in the Rheintal valley and a popular shopping destination.
