Gigapixel view from the summit of "Lynch Peak" (elev. 7280') in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness north of Roslyn, Washington.  The peak is not prolific in height compared to neighboring peaks however it has a fantastic view towards Mount Daniel, Lynch Glacier, & Pea Soup Lake.  The lake is a lovely blue color due to rock flour coming off the Lynch Glacier, though it may have been more of a pea color when the glacier replaced the lake.  Moraines indicate that glacier at one time covered over the entire lake & spread over both exits in two lobes, but now it has completely separated from the lake since at least 1985.  Views also of Daniel Glacier, Mount Stuart, Mount Hinman, Granite Mountain, & nearby "Dip Top Peak", plus some other interesting colored tarns.  Views north extend towards distant Glacier Peak & Mt. Baker w/ a small alpine glacier remnant tucked below which feeds into the lovely Jade Lake below.  With a lack of daylight, I wasn't able to tackle nearby Dip Top Peak & the approach via Dip Top Gap wouldn't have been the easiest from where I was.
