The Buchental Valley can be reached via a narrow road about Lohr Steinbach. From here, a hiking trail leads into the Bavarian Spessart nature park. The mill Buchenm"uhle (beech mill )is the third of seven historic mills. The hiker orientates himself at the famous pilgrimage church Mariabuchen. The church is already visible from afar. Already in 1726, the Prince-Bishop Franz von Hutten first mentioned the mill. It was built as an inn for pilgrims.
