The lemon in Lemon Grove, California is the world’s largest lemon. Lemon Grove is a suburb south of San Diego, CA. The lemon was originally part of a parade float in 1928 and it was plastered and put in place in 1930. Lemon Grove, which goes by the name “Best Climate on Earth” was originally part of the Mission San Diego de Alcal'a, the first mission in California. The area was a vast agricultural area of subtropical fruits and vegetables and lemons were a part of that.

The Intercession Khotkov Monastery is a nunnery of the Russian Orthodox Church, located in Khotkovo on the Pazhe River. Until 1918 it was a regular monastery of the 3rd class, since 1992 it has been considered stavropegic.

In the 15th century, the documentation related to legacies and validations emerges with more intensity, denoting the existence of noble families, within which, more precisely at Casa da Pereira, the navigator Fern~ao de Magalh~aes was born, to whom the plans and partial execution of Earth's first circumnavigation trip. The way of life of these noble families can now be imagined based on the observation of the countless manors and emblazoned houses that are distributed throughout the municipality, which can be appreciated in almost all villages. With the economic prosperity achieved due to the production and trade of wine, the power and influence of this nobility was reinforced, leading to a proliferation of manors in the 18th century. This economic and social start was mainly due to the creation, in 1756, of the Douro Demarcated Region, the first in the world, and to the foundation of the General Company of Agriculture of the Vineyards of the Alto Douro by the Marquis of Pombal.

Castro settlement de Sabrosa, whose occupation began in the Iron Age and ended in the Medieval Period, was defended by three orders of walls built with faceted stones. A double moat, outside the walls reinforces the West and the North, reinforces the defense of the most vulnerable areas of the station. The summit stronghold shows several structures: a turret, five houses, access ramps and doors.
