If, when an employee ceases employment, the employee does not return the uniform or other items in accordance with the receipt, the employer will be entitled to deduct the value as stated on the receipt from the employees wages. In the case of genuine wear and tear, damage, loss or theft that is not the employee’s fault this provision shall not apply. Any disagreement concerning the value of any of the item/s and any other aspect of this subclause shall be determined by the Australian Industrial Relations Commission.
