Today the loser that I am is going to a party! Yes, I got invited somewhere! It's a senior's party, and about 40-50 people are going to be there (unfortunately including that freak of nature Dylan Whatever-His-Last-Name-Is, who always comes into a conversation I have with someone else which is completely unrelated to him or his life just to make a stupid commentabout me because he supposedly hates me so much. The guy is a lunatic - I can't believe
I'm saying this, but nobody likes him), most of the Starkins club included (no Chris, thank God, or he would have ruined the fiesta with his talks of Easrth science, with which he is obsessed) (by the way now I can call Ms. Starkins "Starks" because I am no longer her student).
It's supposed to be a pool party, but I just don't see how the [explicit deleted] we are going to be in water at a maximum of 25° C, it's just surreal. I doubt I will spend much time in water though.
As a matter of fact, there are TWO parties today that I was invited to - Jessica's, and, well, Jessica's (Josie's). But I can't go to Jessica's party because I'm going to Josie's party - which is such a shame! i wish I had a time-turner or something, so that I could go to both parties!! I'm really sorry that I can't go to both parties... I tried to convince my parents to let me, but well, the way that they are, they said to pick just one party - and since it's Josie's graduation party and I'm never going to see her again...
By law of averages, if at first I am incredibly unpopular and go to no parties at all (as was the cse in ninth grade), then later I should be flooded with invitations. Is the law of averages true? Well, so far it is. The problem is - even if the law of averages IS true, would I really be able to go to that many parties, considering all of my future commitments? I doubt it. But it's the invitations that count.
