I started my journey working in the field of mental health over 10 years ago counseling individuals in a residential mental health facility. Since then, I have also gained experience in outpatient therapy and hospital social work settings. Provides assessment and speech and language therapy using Floortime approach. Provides physical therapy evaluations in the clinic, home or community. Services are specified in each individual's Personal Plan and HBS Service Agreement. She has over five years of experience working with children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disabilities. She has training and experience working with ABA Therapy children in clinical, preschool, and home settings focusing on teaching functional language, reducing inappropriate behavior and teaching appropriate replacements, and supporting in social skills groups. Katie enjoys teaching therapists to implement effective evidence-based treatments across all skill areas. In her free time, she likes to read, exercise, and spend time with family and friends.
