Монастырь на месте погребения убитой семьи систематически поджигают. Вы думаете, что это шутки. Yvann was born on October 7th 1987 in Switzerland. He grew up surrounded by music and singing is his biggest passion in life, in his words: "When I sing I feel alive." At the age of 10 he recorded his first EP "ecoute" after entering the 'Medaille d'or' (gold medal) singing competition in Saignelegier, Switzerland. His mother, also a musician, wrote all his songs.
In December 2008 Swiss artist Alain Morisod discovered Yvann's CD. On three occasions he was invited onto his TV programme "Les Coups de Coeur d'Alain Morisod", where he performed "Oh mon papa", "Les roses blanches", and "Le petit chevrier". Yvann has very fond memories of these performances as the audience were very enthusiastic. Following on from that, things began to happen very quickly... In 1999 he recorded his first album "Merci la Vie" which sold 20,000 copies in Switzerland, and he made further TV appearances, for example on "Zigzag Cafe" presented by Jean-Philippe Rapp. He also appeared on many Swiss German TV shows (Megahertz, Top of Switzerland etc), as well as French ones such as, "La chance aux chansons" presented by Pascal Sevran.
In October 2000, at the age of 12, Yvann was invited to tour Canada with Alain Morisod. He was well received by the crowds and his CD was sold throughout the country. Things were going very well and he went on many TV shows on the TQS and TVA channels. He finished the year with a number of concerts in Switzerland (Montreux, Lausanne, Geneva etc) as part of Alain Morisod's Christmas tour. At the beginning of the year 2001 he worked on two new songs which he then recorded during the holidays. The first, "Grandir", was a song dedicated to the public for their support, "Mon étoile", was dedicated to his sister, Maurane. The CD was launched at a concert at the 'Salle Cort'Agora' in Cortaillod on May 19th 2001.
After several concerts Yvann was forced to take a rest as his voice was breaking and he had to start again from scratch. He had weekly singing lessons at the Musikakademie in Basel as he had to continually work on his voice so as not to strain it. Despite all the difficult changes Yvann worked hard and maintained his passion for music. During his teenage years he started writing his own songs on the guitar, in French, English and even Italian.
In April 2009 he made his come-back, returning to the TV programme "Les coups de Coeur d'Alain Morisod" on TSR where he performed one of his new songs, "Sans vous".
Yvann is now 22 years old and this summer he recorded a new album "La Terre tourne", with the songs he's been working on over the last few years. Whilst making the CD he had the chance to work with both Jean-Luc Mailler (who has arranged music for Alain Morisod), and David Gategno (who has written and arranged music for the likes of Celine Dion, Tina Arena, Chimene Badi and Julio Iglesias), ensuring quality arrangements and a rich and beautiful sound. Mr Gategno brought in renowned guitarist Michel Aymé to play on every song. The new album will be launched on October 19th at the Comptoir Delémontain.

Bυζαντινή εκκλησία του 12ου αιώνα.Ο Ελληνικός Πόλεμος για την Ανεξαρτησία κηρύχθηκε εδώ την 23η Μαρτίου του 1821. Στον σεισμό του 1986 το μεγαλύτερο μέρος του κτιρίου κατέρευσε.Μετέπειτα από το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού έγιναν εκτεταμένες εργασίες ανακατασκευής.
