If you are looking to improve your search engine ranking through SEO then you are in the right place. Did you know that search engine optimization is not at all difficult, if you know exactly how it works. Here are some tips that will help you become an SEO expert the easy way.
1. Choosing keywords
Before you start promoting your website make sure you have at least three keywords to target. One of keyword should be the primary keyword which is your main target and the other keywords should be your secondary keywords. The reason for selecting three or more keywords is to make your webpage look natural and not stuffed with a single keyword which looks suspicious to search engines. When you choose the primary keyword see that it has low or moderate competition because the heavily competitive keywords might take years to rank in the first page.
2. Good Content
Now you have your keywords start writing a good article for your blog keeping the users in mind. This is because the primary goal of any site ranking higher is to convert the visitors into customers or subscribers and with a good content this becomes easier. After making your blog user friendly now it is time to make it search engine friendly, to do this place your primary keyword in the title, first and the last sentence of your blog post, then sprinkle the secondary keywords throughout the article.
3. Website Promotion
When your website or blog is ready with content written around target keywords it is time to promote the website. In search engine optimization terms website promotion means building backlinks. Search engines rank a website based on the number of quality relevant backlinks it has, so build links only from websites that are closely related to your website topic.
The best place to get a link to your website would be from established internet directories like dmoz.org and dir.yahoo.com. There are many other directories but select only the top directories in your industry for maximum SEO benefits.
4. Analyze Competition
The only way to reach the top position in search results is to beat your competition. Analyze the top 10 websites and see what it takes to beat them, the statistics that you need to measure is the number of backlinks and anchor text used. When these parameters are known, you just need to build more links than your competition with the primary keyword as anchor text.
When all these above steps are covered accurately, the ranking of your website gradually increases. Always concentrate on giving better user experience and then optimize the site for search engines

If you have been using Facebook chances are you have done some tagging before. Tagging is a way to let other users on your friends list to have access or to be aware about a status, post or picture that you just placed on Facebook. Perhaps, tagging is the engine that made Facebook the venerable social network it has become today. Yet the problem with Facebook tagging is that it may open a can of worms leading to potential security and privacy breach. People may be posting intimate personal information which is not for public's consumption. Now, is tagging really dangerous? Let's find out the answers.
It could be dangerous
Tagging is one of the ways to spread the word out in this social networking site. The purpose of tagging is to make targeted people in your friends list to be aware of what you have uploaded or posted on Facebook. While at the surface it does not give many problems about security and privacy but it may cause a lot of issues. We have no control of people seeing our friends' pages. We may not be in control if the accounts of the tagged friends have been hacked because they have been using a public computer and neglected to log out.
It could give stalkers cues
When you tag people there is a possibility that it can give away your position or whereabouts. This is very scary given the fact that it can let stalkers know where you at and continue stalking you. This innocent way of being tagged with some location information can be dangerous and may put you at harm's way. That is why it is best to keep your location information secret or at least do not give away the exact location. The best way to keep your privacy and safety is never to have tags that indicate where you can be reached.
It could give out sensitive information
Often there are pictures of children that have been tagged without much thought. Some parents would go in greater lengths to put some sensitive information about children on Facebook. These are the exact information that sexual predators can use to entice or lure your children. When a stranger is knowledgeable about the information about Aunt Helen and Uncle Bob they become no longer much of a stranger, they may feel like family and the false sense of security can be the trigger that may send your children into danger.
It could tell the world you are alone
Criminals can be techy, you know. If you have been visible in Facebook, criminals could just monitor your posts and the tags and use the information to tell them when to strike. This is very scary if you have been tagged with the information that you are at the most vulnerable position or you are alone in the house. This sends an idea bulb to criminals to strike while the iron is hot. If you will not feel too much anxiety and stress about this situation, nothing will.
It could swamp your inbox
If you get tagged in girls' night out it may mean that you are not in a relationship. This will prompt stalkers to resume their stalking. This can be dangerous especially if the stalker is deranged.
Facebook is a great way to connect with friends. But it can be a dangerous place like any other real place on earth. Always monitor the tags and see if it does give away your position and could pose danger to your person.
Are social networking sites giving you a lot of anxiety? Don't fret. There are many ways to easily kick away anxiety, just visit MeraSEO site for more helpful information.

Many search marketers see keywords as nothing more than words. But your website keywords are a valuable marketing asset. If you know the exact keywords your prospective customers are using to search for and find the products or services on your website, you have the distinct advantage of being able to tap into the huge lead generation potential of search engine marketing.
Where Can You Find Keywords for Your Website?
There are a number of methods to find keywords for your website search marketing efforts, yet some are better than others.
Brainstorm keywords - You can grab a pen and paper and jot down keywords you think users may or may not use to find your website. Clearly, this method has its limitations because there's no way you can account for the endless possibilities.
Keyword suggestion tools - Getting lists of keywords from keyword suggestion tools has value in search marketing, but it will only take you so far. Keyword suggestions a great for new websites with no query history to draw from, but these suggestions are based on guesstimated data and on keywords that may or may not work for your website.
Your own site analytics reports - In my opinion, the best keywords to target are the actual keywords users typed into search engines to land on your website, so you know these terms are 100% relevant to your website and customer base and are proven to drive traffic and conversions. This information is all in your website's historical data files, which you can access through site analytics or server logs.
The other benefit to using your own website to find keywords is that the data is private and known only to you. With keyword suggestion tools, for example, these tools are open to everyone who wants to use them, including your competition so there's no competitive edge.
What to do with Your Personal Website Keyword Data
Once you've generated your list of highly relevant keywords by mining your website's search query historical data, the next step is to take action. Knowing the keywords that actual searchers used to land on your site, allows you to:
Write website copy for your target keywords - By creating optimized search engine optimization (SEO) or pay-per-click (PPC) landing pages based on your proven keywords, you're creating pages that are extremely relevant. Pages with higher degrees of relevancy perform better and rank higher in paid and organic search engines results and are much more likely to convert because, being closely aligned to the target keywords, they mimic the searchers query.
Create effective PPC ads - One of the keys to PPC success is to craft compelling but relevant text for your ads. The more relevant your ads are to the keywords you're bidding on, the higher the likelihood that searchers will click on your ads and land on your website, where your optimized website copy will improve your chances of getting a conversion.
Point is, by identifying the keywords that real people have actually used to find your site and incorporating those keywords into your daily search marketing efforts, you can turn your website into a highly-effective traffic and lead generating machine for both SEO and PPC.

Smart Search Engine optimization starts with looking at web pages with one eye closely watching the search engine spiders. once that the search engine optimizer is capable of doing this, he or she is half way to mastership of the search engine results.
It has been said many times that search engines rank web pages and NOT web sites as a whole. what this means to the optimizer is that high ranking cannot be achieved for a main page dedicated to ten keyword phrases. However different pages within your site will appear up in the list of search engine results if you optimize each page for just one or maybe two keyword phrases.
if you cannot use your chosen keyword phrase in the url of your website then do not despair, use it as a folder name or even the name of the web page itself. All search engines show the url's of definitive pages within the site, not just the main url itself.
Search engine spiders do not see your graphics or javascript dynamics on your page that you use to capture your visitors. you could use a wonderful graphic page that mentions you sell widgets, however the search engines will not be able to determine that you actually sell widgets. This is where the world of image alternative names take pride of place in the optimizers eyes. The ALT attribute therefore can be a very search engine friendly way of describing your sales conscious website.
As a general rule, search engine spiders have a definitive limit on how much of your web page it will load. For example, googlebot does not read more than the initial 100KB of your page even if it is directed to do so, such as the method of adding keyword phrases to the bottom of your page. Keyword phrases used outside of this range are generally wasted and become 'invisible' to the search engines. our advice is not to overload the HEAD area of your page with various script calls or style attributes.
There are many, many more examples of contextual relevancy a spider considers whilst visiting a page, one of these is the proximity to the beginning of the page that your main keyword phrase occupies, Wasting space with menu bars etc. before the search engine reads the main context is an optimizing nightmare waiting to happen.
Without doubt, no one really knows what all indicators are for ranking highly within the search engine results, however, keep your web pages, simple, clean and relevant, it seems even in these days of latent semantic indexing this method is indeed the best way to ensure search engine optimization success.

Many local businesses hire SEOs (Search Engine Optimizers) to make their website search engine friendly so that it will rank higher in the search results. They pay from hundreds to thousands of dollars to have this service performed. The SEO's charge a large fee to make the website search engine friendly and then an additional monthly fee to either improve the rankings or at least maintain the current position in the search results. Although expensive, many businesses, don't mind paying the fee because they feel that they have to maintain a large Internet presence to attract customers and make money. It's a necessary expense.
But what most businesses don't know is that there is a shortcut to the front of the line - Google Map listings. Business owners know its important to be on the web, and they know that it even more important to be "findable". But they don't know how valuable Google Maps are in achieving this endeavor and they don't know how inexpensive this can be - basically free.
To help me make my point, conduct a Google search for a local business. Enter your city to tell Google where you want it to search and then enter they type of business that you are searching. For example you might enter, Palmdale Pet Groomers.
When you click the search button Google almost instantaneously returns the results of your search query. In this case, as in almost all local searches, Google displays a local map and listings of the top ten search results. And these top ten search results are at the top of the page above the regular web pages. It is the first thing the potential customer sees and because it is colorful display it attracts the viewers attention. To be included in these top ten search results is truly taking a short cut to the front of the line.
So the big question is how to be included in these top ten search results so that you can get the lion's share of the traffic searching for your product or service. The answer is it might be easier than you think and you don't have to name your business AAAA Car Repair or whatever your business is to get to the top of the listings. Google doesn't return the results in alphabetical order. They return results that are most relative to the search words. And the fantastic thing is the business owner can actually optimize their Google Map listing to get a more favorable ranking just like search engine optimization techniques for websites.
Is your business in the top ten search results? It could be. http://www.MyMapInfo.com

This is a fair enough question. You search something online, via a search engine, an you find millions of results. For example, you Google something as random as "family doctor" or "divorce lawyer", and you get about 16,000,000 results. You type in the key words you're looking for, and then Google gives you the results: 1 - 10 of about 16,000,000 results about "family doctor".Now 16 millions is a lot, and still, Google doesn't just give you the results randomly, but it ranks each and every page so they come in a precise order, one in front of the other. How do search engines rank pages?
There isn't an exact answer that will tell you exactly what to do to be ranked first by a search engine, but there is a general concept. Let's take Google again. When Google searches for your search term, it starts the search with those pages containing the exact same term or phrase. Those will be the first pages in the results. After looking for exact matches, it starts looking for pages containing the words close together, then for pages that contain your search terms, but they're scattered around.
This is the general concept. However, you will find that this is not always respected. For example, sometimes it may give you pages with the words close together, and then pages with the exact matches. This happens because search engines have various criteria based on which they evaluate pages. They don't just look at the words you typed in, but at many more factors. Yes, they look for the words throughout the page, and not only in the visible page, but also in the HTML source code for the page.
This way, each time they find a word that matches your search the word is ranked, so that a word in one position or context is more valuable than another word in another position, according to how the words are "formatted". And these are not the only criteria. You know those various links you find pointing to pages?
Search engines also look at those links, and uses them to evaluate the referenced pages. Again, there are various criteria for these pages and their links, such as the number of links, the number of links from popular sites, the words in the link text... and so on. So basically, search engines rank pages by so many factors and in so many ways, that the answer is more or less beyond our grasp. But we may poke around the general concept at least.

Gorilla SEO | Search Engine Survival Skills
Everyone with a web site wants to be in the #1 spot of the major search engines. With the constant changing of the search criteria, how can you avoid getting eaten by the competition?
The answer is to spread out your SEO efforts, or employ what I like to call Gorilla SEO. There are 4 basic steps I try to keep in mind whenever I am promoting my web sites
Step 1, Work with the search engines, I don't mean load up your pages with redundant keywords until no one can make heads or tails out of it. I mean find the keywords that are similar to the main word but slightly different. If "vitamin" is your key word, try words like nutrition, or supplements to build on. When you Google "vitamin" there are over 95,000,000 results, that is a lot of pages to beat out. On the other hand if you Google Supplements there are only 325,000 results. Much less crowded and much easier to get the search engines to notice you.
Step 2, work with the overall plan in mind for your site. When developing your traffic strategy, keep keyword optimization in mind. Do keyword research before you do anything else, then build your plan around the openings. This is gorilla SEO at its finest.
Step 3, Always keep your site fresh by adding content. This is easy if you have a Blog, but even if you have a traditional site, you can add content by adding pages or new products. Most web sites now have blogs for just this reason. The benefit is that it keeps the web crawlers coming back to update what you have done.
Step 4, develop a link building strategy. In order to increase the site ranking on the search engines you have to develop links to your site. There is any number of ways to do this. You can spend money buying links on popular sites, or you can employ one of my favorite gorilla SEO techniques. This is a little known way to build quality links to your web site, just leave relevant comments on public content. Articles (like this), blogs, forums are all excellent places to comment and build links to your site.
Set a goal for your self to comment at one article per day. It will get easier to do the more you do it and the links will start to add up.
Remember to keep your overall strategy in mind, narrow your focus, search for the back door keywords, and you will be a master of gorilla SEO, the predator, not the prey.

Social media marketing has become an essential method of campaigning for political office. During the U.S. presidential campaign in 2008, the Barack Obama campaign team had harnessed the power of social media advertising to achieve victory. This was a phenomenon at that time.
While it is not the only marketing component of any political campaign, social media is certainly a primary one. The reason it plays such a major role can be attributed to the following factors:
1. Better demographic targeting
2. Increased word of mouth (often argued to be the best form of advertising)
3. Greater cost effectiveness
4. A superior ability to generate hype
1 - Targeting Your Demographic Is Easy Online
Unlike conventional advertising in TV or Radio, Social media advertising can be highly targeted. Whereas television and radio may boast a high number of "impressions," these may be unlikely voters. On the web, targeting is much more concentrated and accurate. Facebook, Twitter and StumbleUpon advertising can be placed only in front of those who would be likely to vote for your candidate, statistically making these individuals more aware of your campaign.
The trick is to capture people when they are in the position to explore a topic. When consumers are web surfing, they are already in the "mode" to do so. TV and radio usually try to engage people when they are focused on a drive to work or watching a favorite television show with family.
People are more likely to really delve into the details of your candidate when they are online. And remember, they can press a "Like" button or join a mailing list, which ensures you will have their attention throughout the remainder of the campaign whenever they are online. This simply cannot be done with TV or radio.
2 - Social Media Marketing is One of the Most Effective Methods of Spreading the Word
Word of mouth is one of the most excellent ways to create a buzz. Social media facilitates that on a grand scale more rapidly than any other method. People are reached where they are comfortable, in a place where they are in a position to quickly show everyone they know where they stand about a candidate.
When a hot button issue comes up, your followers are going to link to your positions on this. All you need to do is put up links to videos and other content with a strong headline. Soon it will be re-posted on status updates everywhere in Twitter and Facebook and featured in email "forwards."
3 - Social Media Is More Cost Effective than Any Other Form of Marketing
Because the medium itself is "free" in many ways, to use, you only need to pay for the time it takes your staff to update and interact with your social media outlets. This reduces the budget needed for conventional advertising, while simultaneously increasing its effectiveness.
In addition, many software programs facilitate and reduce the time needed to maintain the different social media accounts.
When some paid advertising is needed it will be less expensive to place ads on different social media platforms like Facebook and StumbleUpon than it would be to do on other media (television, radio, print, etc.).
4 - Hype Sells
Let's face it: hype can arguably be as powerful, if not more powerful than content. This is why generating a buzz online is absolutely quintessential. Social media makes it possible to go "viral" quickly, and in a seemingly organic fashion.
Research has shown that consumers are more likely to respond to what they believe is their own idea or the idea of a friend or family member than they are to respond to something that seems corporate-driven or commercially rooted.
In Conclusion: It's a New Era
Times have changed. For instance, when Obama was elected, Myspace played a huge role. Now, Myspace has become virtually irrelevant, while Twitter and Facebook are the favorites now. That may not last forever. YouTube shows no signs of slowing down, and certainly needs to be one of the primary resources of any social media political campaign strategy.
Keeping up with the latest trends in social media is currently the key to success at marketing virtually anything. Social media marketing is now one of the most actively used advertising methods and are having the greatest impact on instituting expansive publicity for various causes. Political campaign managers must aim to be one step ahead of the opposing candidate's campaign. The chances of winning the race are maximized by finding the most experienced social media marketing consultant and starting your political social media campaign as early as possible.

The future of search is unclear - what is clear is that change is rapidly happening for all of the top Internet search engines. Google as always is the frontrunner for many of these search trends, but even little guys like Ask.com are making waves. In this article, I will attempt to cover some of the more interesting search trends that are occurring today with the top Internet search engines - but I am by no means being comprehensive about the subject. Things are changing on a weekly, or sometimes even daily, basis, and future articles will cover additional developments in depth.
Universal Search
In May 2007, Google - the leader among top Internet search engines -- got people talking (again) when it rolled out its latest search concept, Universal Search. Universal Search was Google's attempt to create a single page of search results, rather than separate pages for types of results, such as videos, images, maps, and websites. When it was first introduced, many search engine optimization firms raced around exclaiming that this was one of those search trends that would change everything and that new optimization rules should be created and followed immediately.
I published an article in early 2007 in which I noted, "The problem with Universal Search is that it can muddy the results, and it can also introduce irrelevant results that a searcher cannot use (1)." I also wrote, "Clearly, Universal Search will change how an SEO campaign is run if it catches on. But this is a real if - users' search habits are hard to change overnight, even if you are Google and you essentially define what searching is and how it works (2)."
And in fact, Universal Search didn't quite take off the way Google had hoped. A post on MediaPost's Search Insider by Mark Simon boldly states, "Universal Search will probably not be viewed as the greatest Google fiasco since Google Video, but it's clear that it's failed to deliver on the vaunted promises made by Marissa Mayer back in May (3)." So will we see more of Universal Search, or will it be quietly put to the side? Will other top Internet search engines want to use it for themselves? Only time will tell, but it seems like Google needs to do a lot more work before users really warm up to it.
Personalization and Personalized Search
Personalization on the other hand seems to be one of the search trends working very well for Google and many of the other top Internet search engines. In an article I wrote a few months ago, I said "The basic principle behind personalized search is simple. When you go to Google and type in a search query, Google stores the data. As you return to the engine, a profile of your search habits is built up over time. With this information, Google can understand more about your interests and serve up more relevant search results (4)."
As it works right now, if you use a Google product (Gmail, Google toolbar, AdWords, etc.), Google is keeping track of what you search for and what websites you visit, and it's then tailoring your results appropriately. Search for "bass," and Google will know whether you mean the fish or the instrument. As I pointed out, though, there are major issues with search trends like personalization:
Privacy issues that arise from personalized search are also a big question. The EU recently announced that it is probing into how long Google stores user information (this probe was subsequently extended to include all search engines). AOL recently committed a serious blunder when it released search data from 500,000 of its users, and it was discovered that it was fairly easy to identify many people by the search terms that they use...(5)
Yet if nobody makes a fuss about this, then it's very likely Google - and the other top Internet search engines - will start tracking everyone behind the scenes, whether they use a Google product or not.
It's actually already starting - right now, the cookie Google places on your machine (did you even know they did that?) will expire in two years - but they won't really expire at all. According to the official Google blog:
In the coming months, Google will start issuing our users cookies that will be set to auto-expire after 2 years, while auto-renewing the cookies of active users during this time period. In other words, users who do not return to Google will have their cookies auto-expire after 2 years. Regular Google users will have their cookies auto-renew, so that their preferences are not lost. And, as always, all users will still be able to control their cookies at any time via their browsers (6).
Seems it won't be long before Google knows what you're searching for before you do.
Expanding "Sneak Peeks"
Ask, one of the smaller of the top Internet search engines, has been using sneak peeks to entice searchers for a while now. Searchers who use Ask.com can mouse over an icon next to many results and see a screen shot of the website. No clicking needed. Google, always watching for search trends, seems to have noticed, because they've filed a patent for expanding their own snippets (7). Soon searchers on Google may be able to read expanded summaries of pages, or longer clips of page text. This tactic appeals to searchers who are now demanding more and more information faster and faster from the top Internet search engines, and who don't want to waste precious seconds clicking on a link and then on the back button to find just the right site for their needs.
Syntax Queries
When Ask was Ask Jeeves, the butler was supposed to listen to your search queries in the form of questions and then get answers for you. The problem was, this never worked exactly the way it was supposed to. Instead of answering the question based on syntax, the engine still responded to searches in the same way others did, by analyzing the words and returning a list. Jeeves was retired with a bit of fanfare, and the engine handles queries in the more traditional manner for now. But all of the top Internet search engines have continued to work on this concept, with Google again leading the way since it has the manpower and brainpower to do so. I expect that within the next year, this will be one of the search trends that the engines will want to focus on with a greater push toward answering questions rather than just returning related results.
Speech Recognition and the Mobile Market
Speech recognition is really going to be one of the huge search trends in the coming months and years for the top Internet search engines. In an interview from this past summer, Peter Norvig, director of Google Research, noted, "[Google] wanted speech technology that could serve as an interface for phones and also index audio text. After looking at the existing technology, we decided to build our own. We thought that, having the data and computational resources that we do, we could help advance the field (8)." With speech recognition in place, one could go to Google (or another of the top Internet search engines) and use a microphone to ask a question aloud, or just say some keyphrases, and get a list back immediately.
And speech recognition has the biggest benefit for top Internet search engines when it comes to users of mobile devices. Let's face it, as advanced as those keyboards may have gotten, they're still a pain to use and it's time-consuming to type in more than a few sentences. (That's y txt msgs r lk ths, u c?). Norvig is on top of that too, noting, "In general, it looks like things are moving more toward the mobile market, and we thought it was important to deal with the market where you might not have access to a keyboard or might not want to type in search queries (9)."
More to Come
As I noted in the beginning, this is just a small sampling of the search trends for the top Internet search engines today. Google, Yahoo, and even Ask are all working tirelessly to get your business and to make search easier, faster, and more accurate. Keep checking back for future articles covering some of the other trends and following up on the ones I've already discussed.

Do You Want to Get Noticed on the Internet - Take a Shortcut to the Front of the Line |
https://tanie-pozycjonowanie.eu/

Free For All Links |
https://tanie-pozycjonowanie.eu/
A Free for All Links ("FFA") page is usually a scrolling list of submitted links: as new sites are submitted, old ones drop off.
- Many FFAs get their submissions from either occasionally webmasters submitting their sites or from automated submissions. You should be aware that there might be few, if any, people actually browsing the links.
- Some FFAs receive many submissions: so the links may not last too long - perhaps even just hours or minutes.
- It's common that by submitting to one of these pages, you are also agreeing to be emailed by the owner. In fact, the owner might well have set up the site, not as an attempt to establish some kind of directory or search tool, but purely so he can send you his adverts in an e-mail message ("thank you for submitting to my page, would you like to sign up for this or that?").
- If you submit to many links pages, you could get a lot of e-mail - perhaps even one per page.
- When was the last time you bought something as a result of an seeing something on one of these pages?
This is why we don't submit to FFAs anymore.
However you're entitled to a different opinion if you want - so if you disagree, go ahead and submit to them.
But: remember that submitting to lots of FFAs can generate a lot of e-mail ads sent to you. You might not want to use your primary e-mail address! Instead you could get a separate e-mail account just for submissions, so your primary e-mail account does not become clogged up with many "thank you" messages and ads.
