-In Paris, in the Salon, criticized the conventional taste of public.
-In Spain (Madrid and Sevilla) was able to capture the strong light while in France painted with smooth colors.

-She is a master painting the intimacy of a mother with its child.
-She joined the Impressionist group but at the end of her life was able to change the style, with large stains and personal perspectives.
-Diagnosed with diabetes, rheumatism and cataracts in 1911, she did not stop painting.
-In 1915, almost blind, she showed eighteen works in an exhibition supporting the women’s suffrage.
-Only Egypt knocked her (for a while): Ancient Egipt Art ‘is surely the greatest Art the past has left us … how are my feeble hands to ever paint the effect on me.
