Our timbers are salvaged from the demolition of old buildings, factories, bridges and wharfs around Australia. In the old days before truss construction house roofs were built by carpenters on site from Australian hardwoods like Blackbutt, Spotted Gum, Ash, Tallowwood & Brushbox. We also find a lot of good solid timber from old factory and warehouse demolitions. I was really happy with the service – from contacting Lucy at the start, to Ethan who measured and confirmed specifications, and then Tim, who did a fantastic job of sanding, polishing and beading. The communication was excellent and they were able to start and complete work within a very short period of time. Tim sanded and polished four rooms and a corridor, removing surface scratches and markings and the shiny orange lacquer, and an old dark varnish in the cupboards.
