A nice selection of shops and services and a good place to kill some shopping time. Good selection of food options but leaning toward pricey. An excellent night market to experience the flavours, smells, and tastes of local culinary treats. It is definitely worth visiting the Xiangshang night market.
The highlight for me was definitely the HUGE grilled squid. Besides the food stalls, there are the usual shops and some games too. Famous night market line with street vendors offering assortment of local favors. One of my favorite food is the deep-fried Spanish mackerel soup. I also enjoyed their local season fruit plate that goes well with it's unique dried plum powder. The store which was built in Japanese style during the Japanese era in the 1930s is really nicely conserved from in and outside.

Lambai Island, also known as Little Liuqiu, is a small and remote island that boasts picturesque shell-sand beaches, charming villages, and various recreational activities. Located in the Singuang Riverside Park behind the Kaohsiung Exhibition Hall, this hidden gem offers an incredible seafood dining experience at Belon Restaurant. Excellent street market that's open during the day. It is much more busy with more vendors opened for business during the weekend.
