Looking at the other reviews I guess that it depends very much when you come there and which artists are performing. I was there on a Friday evening and I liked it, because there was some very beautiful guitar music and a funny clown-like person entertaining the kids. There is some food and some stalls with handcraft stuff and some shops in the containers too.

Taitung’s ocean can turn choppy and muddy when hit by a typhoon or rain. Once you get to the top of the cliff, wait for a choo-choo train to pass along the turquoise ocean.
