Becoming a registered occupational therapist in mental health requires the completion of the equivalent of a four year applied science degree in occupational therapy and then demonstrated two years post-graduate training and clinical practice in the field of mental health.



The Clinical Psychology program at Western Sydney University provides thorough training in a range of mental health issues and equips you with the ability to implement effective evidence-based interventions that are tailored to clients' requirements.
They can provide guidance and support, give perspective, and teach coping strategies to people experiencing things like significant change, stress, illness, grief, learning difficulties, behavioural problems, substance abuse, relationship breakdowns, and so on.

Muscio published lectures on Industrial psychology based on lectures given in 1916, covering material ranging from fatigue, accidents, and the selection of workers (Muscio, 1917 ). These lectures constituted the first book anywhere in the world in the new style on industrial psychology” ('Neil, 1977 , p. 9; cf. Taft, 1982 ). Muscio himself died quite early in 1926, but in the following year Martin set up the non‐profit Australian Institute of Industrial Psychology (AIIP) in Sydney, which was set up primarily as a vehicle for developing and conducting vocational and intelligence tests for the use of private enterprise” (Turtle, 1996 , p. 111).
