So my mom was one of those "Harry Potter is evil" Christians when I finally convinced her to read the first book so that even if she were to keep thinking so she could at least maybe find something to base it off of rather than what other religious crazies say who've never read it. She's now on the fifth book and a while back she basically said she ships Mrs. Norris and Crookshanks.

This past Labour Day there was a Harry Potter marathon on Space. It really got me in a mood to read HP fanfic (something I have not done in the past). I would like to read anything Ron and Hermione based but don't know where to start, can anyone provide any recommendations or a comm to go to?

Additionally, I'm curious if anyone has cosplayed from the Harry Potter universe and have photos? The basic student can be put together easy enough, I think the teachers would be harder.

And finally, I'm hoping to go to London and Florida this year to visit the HP worlds, has anyone been?
