Бывший участник группы F. T Island, в 2009 покинул группу, в данный момент занят сольной карьерой.
Могу сказать одно, ни в чем не уступает Ли Хонг Ги, а внешне лично мне нравится больше, думаю двум талантам стало тесно в одной группе и кому то надо было уйти, а жаль, будь он и сейчас в группе, не было бы им конкурентов.

Иметь много свободного времени это все же хорошо, немного остановиться и ни о чем не думать.
Проведя много времени в интернете я вспомнила детство и все прелести фанатства,
Это поразительно, и приятно, хотя вряд ли имеет полезность.
Итак, все еще продолжается одержимость F.T Island. Я выкапываю все видео с этой группой, выступления, клипы, посвящения, передачи с их участием, незнание корейского конечно огромное препятствие, но есть добрые люди, которые вставляют в видео субтитры на английском и спасибо им за это огромное,
А ведь ничто не предвещало, повторюсь, но снова надо будет напомнить, что начиналось все с драмы « Ты прекрасен» и тем , что мне понравилась драма и главный герой, потом наступил черед ролей второго плана, одним из которых был Джереми , которого играл Ли Нонг Ки. Вообще и внешне мне он страшно не нравился, и роль клоуна, которую он играл в драме тоже. Но опять же на ютюбе , где я смотрела драму, было много восторженных комментариев именно в отношении Джереми, меня просто поражало, что было столько эпитетов типа sexy и cute в его адрес, ведь внешность и правда так себе, роста маленького, личико прямо скажем ординарное, там же были Гюн Сок и Юнг Хва, два высоких красавца. Википедия дала общую информацию, о том, что Хонг Ки является членом музыкальной группы.
Мне вообще не нравились корейские группы, толпа мужчин или женщин, с огромным количеством косметики и танцев. Но мне понравилось как Хонг Ги спел “Still/ As Ever” и в минуту затмения я набрала “ F. T Island “ в поисковике. Знакомство с творчеством группы началось с более поздних песен, Hello,Hello и Love,Love, Love. Мне понравилось, звучание, голос, клипы, отсутствие слащавости и повальных танцев тоже.
«Надо же, есть же в Южной Корее хорошие группы»- подумала я, тем более, что до этого я послушала CN Blue и была просто очарована Юнг Хва. Но после того, как я просматривала одно видео за другим, меня все больше захватывала музыка F. T Island. Слух у меня не очень, поэтому для меня обычно важны тексты песен, но слушать F.T Island мне было приятно даже не понимая смысла, голос и музыка меня завораживали.
И даже не раздражали, как обычно, вкрапления английского в песнях, Хонг Ги действительно очень обаятельный и харизматичный певец, где ни копни, о нем всегда говорят «мощный вокал» и действительно, это мощно, когда просматриваешь видео выступлений, видно, как он владеет публикой и умеет зажигать.
Меня всегда поражало, как молоды звезды шоу бизнеса в Южной Корее, а Хонг Ки и его группа дебютировали когда им было всего 17, может именно молодость, с ее амбициями и перфекционизмом и есть ключ к такой искренности, с которой они выступают. Они действительно ловят кайф от того, что делают.
Ну что сказать, каюсь, несмотря на солидный возраст и скептическое отношение к жизни, меня как то застигли врасплох в самый уязвимый момент, Хонг Ги настолько обаятелен, то я просто не могу сопротивляться, это наркотик, да я и не жалею и всем советую.

Поскольку я очень увлеклась F.T Island и вокалистом группы Ли Хонг Ки, я на ютюбе нашла 2 программы, одна из них Мнет Скандал, в этой программе в течение недели встречаются звезда и обычная девушка или парень.
В данный момент смотрю эпизоды с Хонг Ки, интересно, не могу оторваться.

It is very predictable that after being infatuated with YAB I wanted to find out more about each of the male leads, definitely JKS was first, and YongHwa was next in the list. Wikipedia provided me with the information regarding YongHwa and his group CN Blue, to be honest there was some apprehension before I searched for their songs, I mean my little notion of Korean boy and girl bands was that of a bunch of men or girls dancing and singing, and also rapping from time to time, so I did not even know what to expect. The first MV of CN Blue I watched was Love, not only was I surprised by the fact that MV was good, I mean it was not original, but thanks god there wasn’t a bunch of dancers, I actually liked the song and Yonghwa was just amazing, looked and sang good. The style and music of CN Blue reminded me of The Beatles in terms of the look and in regards of music I felt the influence of Maroon 5 and Paolo Nutini and I don’t know what else. Of course I delved into the matter more seriously and so far I liked MV’s and songs ( of course I didn’t listen to all their songs, but what I’ve heard I liked. I also found them on the couple of the variety shows and watched their debut showcase, I really liked YongHwa’s serious, confident and mature demeanor. But maybe because I am still influenced by his YAB’ character every time I see him, even though there is no reason for that, I feel like there is something vulnerable about him, is it his cuteness or something else that gives me such feeling, I can’t say. Anyways, when I see something good I am always afraid that it can be damaged eventually, so I hope and wish CN Blue and their leader al the best. Next came Lee Hong Ki, the fact is that his part as a childish, kind and naïve Jeremy was fine , and that was all I had to say. Lee Hong Ki is not unquestionably handsome as YongHwa and charismatic JKS as Hwan Tae Kyung stole the show for me, therefore I hardly ever mentioned Hong Ki , I was only a bit irritated by him being so blond. However, every time I read comments I was really surprised that actually so many people loved and admired him, he was referred as sexy and cute and etc. So I had to investigate and that is how I got to know F.T Island, once again it was a good surprise. Also good MV’s and good songs, and Hong Ki is really a wonderful performer, watching this band performing alive is really even better than watching MV, he really has a powerful voice and a very endearing personality, but my impression was that though he is always all smiles and charm and comes across as happy-go-lucky persona, you really can feel a very strong-willed and goal-oriented personality behind this carefree façade. The conclusion of all these random and hectic post is that because of YAB I have discovered two wonderful Korean bands and two wonderful singers.

From time to time, on different occasions, I watch dramas.
Around a week ago on one of TV channels I came across the k-drama “Mary stayed out all night”, and as there was nothing to do I started to watch and coincidently that was the first episode.
I guess I watched till the 8th episode online and then dropped off, but the first and foremost why I started to watch is that the male lead caught my eye, as long as I watched I kept asking myself if I found him handsome or ugly, really, there was something in his face that did not feel right, and I think that was his nose. But anyway, I checked online the name of the actor, it is Jang Geun Suk, now I can write this name correctly without even thinking, I do not know if it is a fact that his name is easy to spell or the fact that I googled him so many times.
Looking via his photos I still was not sure if I like his look or not, but surely guy has changed a lot with the course of time, change of hair colour really makes wonders.
In order to settle my uncertainty I decided to watch the other drama with him and as according to Wikipedia he became famous and internationally known after the drama YAB that is what I decided to watch.
Interestingly, when I went to Dramacrazy.com to watch dramas YAB always popped up in the list but I never felt the urge to see it, as the summary which I read their just did not seem entertaining.
But as I was intrigued with JGS I gave it a go and as soon as A. N Jell members appeared I was hooked,
The plot revolves around a young girl Go Mi Nye, nun-in training, who has a twin brother, Go Mi Nam, who is a singer and has been chosen to join the most poplar boy band in South Korea, called A.N. Jell.
At the time when contract needs to be signed, Go Mi Nam has to go to the US to undergo an urgent surgery and his manager finds his twin sister and asks to play the part of Go Mi Nam for a while in order not to lose the contract that may make Go Mi Nam a real star.
The experience of the fake Go Mi Nam and her relations with the other A.N Jell members is what this drama about.
To my shame, I did not understand that A.N Jell stands for Angel ( Archangel) and at first I could not get why fan-girls had angel wings and halos put, it dawned on me only after it was explained by the group members in variety show ( watching their variety shows was one of the places where I laughed out loud).
Of course I agree with the opinion that eyeliner does not make JGS handsome and criticism of his high heels is really correct, but beside these facts I have become his fan, now I state that he is handsome, nice, cute etc.( and his nose is the cutest part, let’s say his signature mark, is it true that he had a nose job btw?) and his voice when he speaks is so deep and velvety , and in addition to it guy can sing, really he has so many talents it is just not fair.
Well from the actor to the drama, of course I never expect k-dramas to be deep and full of some messages, I watch them to spend time and for me they need to be entertaining ,YAB is entertaining, unrealistic, funny and has wonderful soundtracks. From the first episode till the last one there was not a moment when I felt bored, ashamed of stupidity of the characters or annoyed by the scenario.
At the same time of course it is full of clichés (which k-drama is not?) but as it is a comedy from the start all these clichés does not offend you a bit.
You just need to put aside the fact that boobs of the girl pretending to be a boy are so obvious, her manners, her voice etc. are so girley that even in South Korea, where boys are so feminine, it would have been impossible not to notice the real identity.
But it is like this in all the stories where female pretends to be a male or vice versa.
Park Shin Hye plays nice and believable, of course we cannot say plausible,as no such character may be observed in real life ( I mean so naïve, loving and gentle and kind , she is a nun after all ).
I liked YongHwa playing the Shin Woo character, I mean from my point I did not notice that he was a newbie, he played the role of the person who experiences unrequited love with the dignity and warmth, he is nice and though I read some comments that he should not act anymore, I think he is so handsome and has so many fans that in case scenario is good he may play a lead in some drama ( I still need to check out Heartstrings in order to have a more definite opinion).
The Jeremy character played by Lee Hong Ki did not leave any good or bad impressions, I have never heard of him before, but he played his part well, I just did not like his character, but I really liked how he sang “ Still/ As Ever”.
All in all, this drama is a fairy tale, something unreal, but it is moving and watching it really makes you happy and at the same time you really root for the characters and want them to be happy.
Sometimes it is really nice to escape into such a perfect world full of so many handsome characters. I think I will listen to the songs for a long time and definitely I will want to watch it or at least some parts of it again someday.

K-pop has won the world
