Title: Voyage Circle: Psychic Twin & Die Firma Traumerei Art: A Rating: R Pairing: Snape/Harry Number of Pages: 56
Other Info: Published on May 4, 2003 (I think). Comic/Novel. The art in this doujinshi is good (I like how they draw Snape) and some of the stories are quite amusing. Sirius' reaction about Snape & Harry's relationship; Hermione, Ginny and Moaning Myrtle's spying on Snape & Harry during an intimate moment with quills in hand ... However, this doujinshi does have some adult content. True, I've seen worse (it's quite mild compared to many adult doujinshi) but Harry looks so young in those scenes that it bothers me a bit.

Title: Dream Maker Circle: Psychic Twin & Die Firma Traumerei Art: A Rating: PG Pairing: Sirius/Lupin, Harry/Ginny (a tiny bit), Viktor/Hermione Number of Pages: 36
Other Info: Published on December 29, 2002. This doujinshi is set during Chamber of Secrets and Goblet of Fire. There's a few scenes about CoS: Ginny blushes when she sees Harry, Lockheart acts very sparkley and Draco and Harry's duel. During the Goblet of Fire scenes, there's an amusing scene where Hermione squishes Rita, before she knows Rita's secret (Rita walks away covered in bandages). There are a couple of serious stories at the end but I won't go into those. I do so enjoy Psychic Twin's doujinshi. Good art and funny stories a good doujinshi make.

Title: Boy Meets Dark Circle: Psychic Twin & Die Firma Traumerei Art: A Rating: PG Pairing: Sirius/Lupin, Sirius/Harry Number of Pages: 48
Other Info: Published on August 11, 2001. This doujinshi is quite amusing. There are some serious stories (Harry meets Tom Riddle) as well as some of the funniest stories I've seen. This doujinshi has a very amusing scene where Harry transfigures a book into a dictionary. When McGonagall looks up the word pig it says "Pig = Dudley." There's also a scene where Harry buys Sirius a dog collar as a present and Sirius has no idea how to react.

Title: One Day Circle: Kuchibirukara Sandanju Art: A Rating: PG Pairing: Fred & George/Percy (maybe) Number of Pages: 20
Other Info: Published on August 9, 2002. Beautiful art. I do so like this circle. In the story, a girl likes Fred but the twins make her try and tell them apart. Later, Percy gets angry at them for some reason. I'm not sure about the pairing in this story. There's a scene where Fred & George kiss Percy on the cheek (Percy freaks out) but they may just be teasing him. I really need to study Japanese harder.

Title: Love Makes Musics Circle: Academic Star Art: B+ Rating: PG Pairing: none Number of Pages: 28
Other Info: Published on Febuary 3, 2002. This doujinshi is cuter than the first one by Academic Star, although the art isn't quite as good. For some reason, this story features all the characters with cat ears and tails (Cat-Snape is amusing and Cat-Gred & Forge are really cute). The only non-cat character is Sirius, who is quite upset (or happy?) when he finds Cat-Harry for sale in a pet store.

Title: Frustration Music Circle: Academic Star Art: A Rating: PG Pairing: Ron/Harry Number of Pages: 28
Other Info: Published on December 29, 2001. This doujinshi is quite good. The art is good, although I think the cover art is a little better than the inside art. There are three stories in this one. One is a rather amusing Halloween story, one is about Harry's reaction to the Mirror of Erised and the other is when Harry meets Draco.

While the cover art for this circle is usually unimpressive, I find the interior art to be fairly cute. It's not spectacular, but the stories are usually cute and amusing, so I like Office Akujo.
Title: Viva Viva Viva Circle: Jesus Drug Mirage House Art: A Rating: PG Pairing: Lockhart/Snape, Crabbe & Goyle/Draco Number of Pages: 32 Other Info: Published on May 4, 2002. I like this doujinshi much better than the other doujinshi by this circle (the stories are funny). This doujinshi features Crabbe & Goyle's little crush on Draco. Even funnier is Lockhart's assumption that Snape has a crush on him after Snape tries to return a picture Lockhart dropped. Lockhart decides to give Snape a suggestive picture which horrifies Snape. This doujinshi is worth buying just for that scene.
While Nekogumi-Duo isn't one of my favorite circles, I do admire their color art, which is quite good. They focus mostly on Sirius/Harry, a pairing that I've never been fond of. However, if you like Sirius/Harry or don't care, then this is a pretty good circle.
Title: Wandering Eyes Circle: Akaiusagi Art: B+ Rating: PG Pairing: none Number of Pages: 32 Other Info: Published on August 9, 2002. This doujinshi is made up of several short stories. Most of them are comedy stories and include such amusing events as Ron accidentally transfiguring Harry's glasses with his broken wand and a Fred & George fireworks story. There's also one short, serious story where Harry thinks about Sirius & James friendship. Again, cute art.
Title: Nocturne Alley Circle: Fukuzin, Bikke, R.R.O.C., FDK & more Art: A, C, A, A, & other Rating: PG Pairing: gen Number of Pages: 146 Other Info: Published on April 29, 2002. This doujinshi is actually an anthology-style book published for the first Harry Potter only doujinshi event I know of - Nocturne Alley. I placed this in the Fukuzin section because they did two of the stories in this and so, about half of the 146 pages is drawn by Fukuzin. There are two color pages, one novel section and the rest is comic.
If I had to suggest one single Harry Potter doujinshi to buy, this would be the one.
Title: Generation Circle: R.R.O.C. Art: B Rating: G Pairing: none Number of Pages: 8 Other Info: Published on August 11, 2001. Small size (A5). This doujinshi is a series of character sketches of Prisoner of Azkaban characters (James, Lily, Sirius, Lupin). There's no story and the sketches aren't even up to R.R.O.C.'s usual standards. It's not worth buying unless it's cheap and/or you're a R.R.O.C. fan.
Title: Rain Circle: plastics*echo Art: A Rating: PG Pairing: Harry/Ron Number of Pages: 40 Other Info: Published on March 17, 2002. This is a fairly cute doujinshi. The story is pretty simple -- Ron struggles with his feelings for Harry, confesses and there's a happy ending. The art is also quite good. I like how this artist draws Ron and Harry. They're quite cute.
Title: Dreams ... Phantasms Circle: Jelly Beans Art: B Rating: PG Pairing: Ron/Hermione Number of Pages: 24 Other Info: Publish date unknown. I'm not quite sure what's going on in this doujinshi. From what I can tell, Ron has a dream that helps him realize he cares about Hermione ... or I could be completely wrong. The art in this doujinshi is okay but not as good as a couple of other Jelly Beans doujinshi.
Title: Crash Boy Circle: E. E. Magic Art: B Rating: PG-13 Pairing: Harry/Draco Number of Pages: 52 Other Info: Published on August 9, 2002. After asking Ron for advice, Harry sneaks into the Sytherin dormitory one night to find out something from Draco. Later, Snape has Draco drink a mysterious potion. There's also a short comedy story featuring angry Hermione. While the art isn't spectacular, it's still good and is worth buying if you like Harry/Draco.
E. E. Magic is one of the few circles I've seen that draws Harry/Draco (you'd think that'd be more popular, wouldn't you?) and the only one I've seen that draws Snape/Draco. The art is good, although not spectacular. This artist does seem to love feminine uke-style Draco. Personally, I find it a bit creepy, especially in the Snape/Draco doujinshi, but I've never really liked the feminization of male characters. However, if you like Harry/Draco, or uke Draco, then this would be a good circle for you.
Akane Ryozuki has a very distinctive style. It's a lot different than the typical shoujo style (a bit more realistic) and it's a style I like a lot. Alas, as far as I know, she's only done two Harry Potter doujinshi.
Title: Hoshi ni Onegai wo (Wish Upon a Star)
Circle: Zuihouzakura
Art: A
Rating: PG
Pairing: none
Number of Pages: 24
Other Info: Published on December 29, 2001. Fanbook #1. Smaller than normal size (A5). This is a really cute Fred & George story. They find a tamagotchi in their Dad's collection of Muggle goods, name it Harry (the humanHarry gets really confused), and try to raise it like good parents. Alas, a tamagotchi's life is short and they are deeply saddened at it's death. Such a cute, cute doujinshi this is. Good art and a cute story.
