A grand costume movie “Warring States” will be released nationally in April 15. Recently, the second edition of the film official trailer was exposed. Sun Bin, Pang Juan, Tian Xi, Pang Fei, King of Qi and other important figures are shown in the trailer. Set during China's Warring States Period (475BC -- 221BC), the film centres on a rivalry between military strategists Sun Bin (or Ton Tan, a descendant of the famous Sun Tzu) and Pang Juan (Bang Quyen). Both men studied military strategy together before Pang became a top military general for the Wei State. Despite his success, Pang became jealous of Sun's closer relationship to their hermit mentor and had him framed for treason against the state.
