Понедельник, 21 Октября 2024 г. 13:20 + в цитатник

Chini Ka Rauza is located in Agra. It is also called China tomb. It is the tomb of Allama Afzal Khan. He was a Persian poet and the Prime Minister of Emperor Shah Jahan. Afzal Khan was a close associate with the Mughals. The tomb is famous for its architectural design. This design is a mix of Persian, Chinese and Indian architecture. Chini refers Chinese in Persian and Rauza means tomb. It is said that the structure of the tomb is inspired by the Chinese architecture buildings.

This tomb is surrounded by the beautiful garden. This tomb is not as famous as other places of Agra, like Taj Mahal and Red fort of Agra, but still it holds a significance role in the Mughal history.

If you planning to visit Agra or its nearby places like Mathura and Vrindavan, you may consider visiting this tomb while on Agra Mathura Vrindavan Tour.
