Android had his first experience with Techno in the early 1990's; however first contact with electronic music he had in the mid 80´s with Euro Techno Pop. Years later, in 1995, Techno became a significant part of Andres's life.
Android (Andrei Abramov) was born in Moscow, Russia on May 1974. At the age of 21 he moved to Toronto, Canada. Shortly after moving to Canada in the mid 90's, Andrei got into DJ'ing; Andrei's professional Disk Jockey carrier took off in 1997.
These days Android not only known for playing and producing great bits, he is also known for successfully promoting and organizing major events and parties. With acclaimed releases on CLUSTER, APEX, MAXIMUM-MINIMUM and his own label SPARTEK Andrei gradually built his reputation as one of the most controversial new techno producers in the world today. Android quickly became a household name following his accomplishments and residencies at large scale events and clubs across World and Canada: WEMF, Destiny Productions, Guvernment night club, and Warung Beach Club (Brazil) just to name a few.
Android has had many adventures touring across Canada, Russia, Europe, United States and South America. His productions can be heard around the world, spun by the likes of Chris Liberator, DAVE The Drummer, Mauro Picotto, Judge Jules, Dj Preach, John Peel, Dj Groove just to name a few. Android is currently doing what he does best, working on the next big SPARTEK label
