A Learning Management System (LMS) is a software application used in administration, documentation, tracking, reporting, and delivery of educational courses and in training programs.

Discussed below are the roles of LMS administration:

1. To create user logins as per requirement and assign user permissions.

2. He manages the enrolment process which includes even the tracking features

3. He is responsible for publishing the online blending solutions, assigns training curriculum with adding or deleting the resources.

4. The LMS admin interacts with the Information Technology department to manage the course asset library.

5. He updates and develops the standardized tools and reporting it to the current access to learning information, hence he also generates standard and customized reports.

6. The LMS admin designs the overall course structure based on the specifications from the instructional designer.

7. He is the one who directs the HD department, technical managers and others to follow the strategic direction after the data analysis.
