It is unfortunate that in the USA (outside large cities) it is
neccessary to have a reliable car. We must work to buy the car, need the car to get to work, then keep the insurance companies and the oil companies in business! We only work to pay taxes and buy cars!! This is my new "used" car - 2002 Honda CIvic. Wish me luck paying for it! lol

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Turkey day, but I think we are having ham.

Already today it has started snowing... and trying to stick.

I wish all my friends a good day - whatever day it is where you are! May you have good food and friendship.

Christmas is coming!! Ho ho ho!!!

Last week I was on the road. In Ohio I met my sister so we could meet the lawyer and start the dreaded process of settling my mother's estate. We had several days of seeing the lawyer and the bankers... very tiring.

On Saturday we had the memorial service for our mother. My sister is older and is more experienced at public speaking being married to a preacher so she gave a very lovely eulogy. The service was quite moving and was a true celebration of my mother's life. She was 87 and was a wonderful example of a Christian life.
She will be missed.

Of course, we saw cousins and people we had not seen for 20 years!

We returned home from Ohio tonight(Sunday). Back to the real world!
