Everyone decides for himself - to eat something between meals or not.
Once upon a time, "bite," "carrying food" was considered unacceptable and even severely
punished. But over time, a good tradition is forgotten and in many families snacks are considered the norm. And the media have put a lot of effort into it. Advertising all sorts of bars, hot dogs attracts not only children, but also adults. Modern people eat well, so marketing has engaged in "blurring" of traditional food. Every now and then we see and hear: "Snickersney" or that when you are hungry, you are not you... Children, young people, and adults are subjected to daily "video-food treatment" and many cannot resist.

Eating popcorn during a movie session, chips when meeting with friends, washed down with dubious sodas - the norm of everyday life.
It should be understood: for the average person there are no "healthy snacks."
Eating something between breakfast and lunch is permissible for athletes and diabetics taking insulin injections.
It is no exaggeration to say that most of the population snacks during the day crackers, candy,
chips. And some of the work is a snack right at the desk, not leaving work. Full lunch at such laborers is absent, and the body requires calories and the number of snacks increases.
The danger of snacking is that most of us do not seek to reduce the calorie content of the main meal, taking into account the calories obtained in the
snack.
By the way, in some countries snacks are
condemned. In Japan, Turkey, France, snacking is extremely negative. I must say, the positive results are visible to the naked eye!
The French are less likely to suffer from heart, vascular disease and
obesity. There was a claim that it was all olive oil, on which the French cook food and in red wine, which they prefer. But still the main reason: the lack of snacks.
The latest statistics state that French women are the thinnest
Europeans. The BMI of French women is 23.5.
You can calculate your body mass index
yourself. It's not hard. Divide your body weight by your height in meters squared: body weight: (growth in m)2.
The norm after 30 years is considered to be 20 - 25.9.
In France, it is considered the norm to eat two to three times a day without snacking in
between. Once French restaurants served customers only at the traditional time of lunch or dinner.
But lately in France there are fast food restaurants, snacks and other temptations.
The French can not resist the temptation and during the day can eat alone, but still have lunch and dinner with family or with friends.
Of course, the change in the traditions of food becomes noticeable on the appearance of the
French. Obesity is beginning to threaten this nation, especially the bad trend is noticeable on children.
It is a pity that the classic French education of children in the field of nutrition is gradually disappearing.
And yet recently French children had no right without the permission of their parents to open the refrigerator and take from there, whatever you want. Children are not "biting" and the order in the house with this approach is much easier to maintain.
Some people will like the French approach to food, some people don't.
We're not French, and there's nothing we can do about it. Sometimes we snack not because we want to eat, but for the company, out of boredom. A small meal quenches hunger for a short time. In the next meal we will not even remember about the snack and eat everything we think is necessary!
It's hard for obese people to stop snacking.
Night snacks reduce hunger in the morning. But it should be taken into account that this increases the level of insulin.
There is no consensus on the benefits or harm of snacking even in nutritionists.
Many people have five or six meals a day to help control their appetite and achieve weight loss. Still, the more important is not how many times you eat, but the caloric content and amount of food. So you have to listen to yourself, your body. Everyone should choose individually the frequency of nutrition, which helps not to overeat and feel good.
It is important to decide what is more useful to eat during a
snack. Some prefer nuts or cookies. It must be said that this choice is dangerous. 100 g of nuts contains almost 600 kcal. And what is 100 grams of nuts? It's just a handful!
100g biscuits contain 400 kcal.
I think everyone noticed - if only ate a cookie, the hand immediately reaches for the next. It's hard to stop...

Such snacks will definitely negatively affect the figure.
So what to choose for a
snack? Snack should be easy. Avoid highly processed foods with plenty of fat and sugar.
The best option - protein purged.
Eggs and cottage cheese saturate the body for several hours. Add fiber-rich foods to them.
Good ratio: cottage cheese and berries or breads and a piece of cheese or red fish, breads and egg, quality yogurt with berries.
Some people snack to avoid overeating, while others lead to
it. Why this is happening, we have already figured out.
Everyone decides for himself - to "bite" him or not!
What should not be forgotten is the drinking
regime! Especially if you stick only to basic meals. A glass of clean water, drunk between meals, will help to cope with the feeling of hunger
