Private online lessons and online tutoring are the exact same thing. In this article, we will refer to both interchangeably. Similarly, the word "Tutor" is used very frequently to describe teachers, professors, academics, instructors, specialists in certain subjects and educators to support learning, including any person who can follow a student electronically.
What is e-tuition?
E-tuition is another English term used to refer to online tutoring and private online lessons. While schools tend to use "e-learning" as a definition for virtual lessons with a students, "tuition" usually (but not exclusively) refers to individual lessons.

How do online tutoring work?
The way private online lessons work differs enormously based on the student and the school subjects taught. Here are some discriminating:
• Using an online platform like Skype, Google Meet, and Zoom to make video calls.
• The ability to share your screen and use a messaging or chat feature, so students and teachers can analyze the material together.
• The use of Google Drive to study shared documents, so that written works and corrections can be seen by both the Tutor and the student.
• A virtual class in which a Tutor follows a predetermined lesson schedule. Often these sessions include some tools such as interactive digital whiteboards, shared operating notebooks, or online games.
