Espumisan is a medicine that effectively relieves the feeling of bloating, caused by accumulation of gas in the intestines. The drug ESPUMISAN is also helpful in preparation for diagnostic procedures and after abdominal surgery.

ESPUMISAN Composition:
1 capsule contains 40 mg of simethicone

ESPUMISAN Action:
Espumisan in a large, economical package containing 100 tablets allows you to enjoy a good mood without annoying intestinal discomfort - flatulence. Simetikon contained in Espumisan effectively reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles contained in food and mucus of the gastrointestinal tract, causing them to burst and be absorbed by the intestinal walls or expulsion. Espumisan is indicated in preparation for diagnostic tests: stomach, intestines, pancreas, gallbladder and kidneys, because it prevents the overlap of gases and foaming food content on the image of the organs examined. Espumisan is also often indicated after abdominal surgery.

Application ESPUMISAN:
Symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal disorders associated with excessive gas accumulation (flatulence), also after surgery. Auxiliary agent in preparing patients for abdominal examination (radiological, ultrasound, gastroscopic). In studies using double contrast as an additive administered together with a contrast agent.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients and 4-hydroxybenzoate. Do not drink carbonated beverages while using the preparation.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
Safety during pregnancy and breast-feeding has not been established.

Dosage:
Orally. In states of excessive accumulation of gas in the gastrointestinal tract, school children and adults: 1-4 capsules per day, the maximum dose for adults is 6 capsules. In preparing patients for diagnostic tests within the abdominal cavity: on the day preceding the test - 2 capsules in the evening or 2 ml drops 3 times a day and in the morning on the day of the test - 2 capsules. The preparation should be taken during or after a meal and if necessary before bedtime; the treatment should be continued until the symptoms disappear, the preparation can be administered for a longer period of time.
