Pink Punch by Lemon Twist Eliquid Review

One of my favorite summer drinks has always been pink lemonade (from Country Time). Something about that light pink color and the tart sweetness that is far superior to ordinary lemonade, you know? Imagine my delight to discover that there’s an e-liquid rendition of this summer beverage! Today I’ll be reviewing Iced Pink Punch by Lemon Twist, a menthol and pink lemonade delight! While I’m usually a little skeptical of lemon flavors, I decided to brave the tart citrus due to my love of the refreshing flavor of the real thing! So come on, let’s check it out!

Being that the bottle was pink, it made it impossible to see the color of the e-liquid until I poured it in the tank. I also had an unpleasant experience when I tried opening the bottle. The childproof cap was so tightly attached to the safety seal that I couldn’t open it immediately. I ended up twisting so hard that the cap broke off in my hand and now I wasn’t able to re-screw the cap back on. I forgot that the cap wasn’t on properly when I put it in my bag; when I went to get something out of my bag, over half of the bottle had leaked into my bag. Granted, it smelled delicious, but the sticky e-liquid ruined several things in my bag and made it very difficult to clean up. I’m sure this isn't the case with every bottle, but just be careful if you have trouble opening your bottle.

The drip tip is slim and easy to insert in my tank’s fill port. I did notice that despite the 3mg of nicotine in this e-juice, the liquid was completely clear. The consistency seemed to be pretty watery, as it moved around fluidly in both the tank and the bottle. I was a little worried to see this because watery liquids have a tendency to burn the coil if you vape it to frequently (also known as chain vaping). In spite of these concerns, I proceeded to fill my tank up after only a few squeezes of the bottle. The scent of the e-liquid wafted to my nostrils, even while filling the tank. And the scent...ohhhhh myyyy goshhhh. It’s a good thing the warning label tells you not to drink the e-liquid, because this vape juice smells EXACTLY like the powdered pink lemonade from Country Time Lemonade. With a tantalizing scent like that, I immediately wondered how this flavor would taste upon vaping it. Let’s get to that part now!

This was my first time trying a Lemon Twist eLiquid and as I mentioned before in the introduction, I’m a little nervous about trying lemon-flavored vape juices. However, Iced Pink Punch was pretty damn good! I noticed that on the inhale, there wasn’t much flavor, perhaps a faint lemon tartness. All three flavors (lemonade, pink sweetness, and menthol) came through on the exhale, one after the other. It was a pretty impressive exhale, as I wasn’t expecting to be able to taste each one of the flavors. The lemon came out strong and tart, but was immediately softened by the pink flavor if you will, a soft and sweet taste that made me want more. The menthol was the biggest surprise, as it came at the very end of the exhale. The cooling menthol stayed on my tongue and pleasantly intensified until my tongue felt like it was tingling! The menthol gradually faded and I noted that the 3mg of nicotine produced a very satisfying throat hit, not too strong but noticeable enough to not need a second hit right away.

The scent of the clouds was sweet to inhale, both as first-hand vapor back into my nostrils and second-hand vapor to passerby. One thing I was disappointed in was that my suspicions of this being too watery of an e-juice were confirmed. I noted that if I took too many hits too quickly, I got a burnt taste from not letting the coil soak up enough e-juice for the next pull. And this is such a smooth and flavorful e-juice that it’s hard to resist taking multiple hits in rapid succession.

With their durability, low power consumption and the fact that they do not have bulbs that need replacing, LED flashlight have many advantages over more traditional flashlights. However, their popularity was stunted in the past by their higher costs. Fortunately, prices for all things LED have started to come down thus making them a better value and a popular choice for flashlights.

When comparing flashlights, one needs to be aware of the different factors that make it impossible for LED flashlights to be priced as low as many other flashlights, as of yet. Traditional flashlights often consist of little more than a bulb, tube, batteries and a switch. On the other hand, LED flashlights require some type of microprocessor or voltage regulation system to function properly. The LEDs are also more expensive than traditional bulbs. Furthermore, since LED lighting is a newer technology, and they have not been manufactured in the quantities other types of lighting have, LEDs have not reached the economies of scale and cheaper manufacturing costs other flashlights have.

However, the costs have been coming down as the technology has matured and their popularity grown. It is now possible to enjoy the benefits of LED flashlights at much lower prices.

The biggest advantage of LEDs is that they use far less energy than incandescent flashlights. Because of this, the batteries will last considerably longer. Hence, the flashlight will be much more likely to have battery power when the time comes to turn it on and last as long as needed.

Another advantage is long-lasting durability of the LED flashlights. Whereas the filament in a flashlight with an incandescent bulb is certain to burn out eventually as the gas in the bulb gradually leaks out, LEDs can last for years and years. As a matter of fact, LED lights can potentially last for 15 years or more. Even with their electronics, LED flashlights are far more resistant to being dropped and other shocks that often occur when people use flashlights. However, they are more sensitive to heat (but do not produce nearly as much heat as incandescent bulbs).

While the directional light LEDs produce is not always desirable for home lighting, it is an advantage for flashlight use where a highly directional beam is often best for flashlight use.

With their advantages, LEDs will probably become more popular in flashlights. As their popularity continues to grow, their prices are likely to continue to decrease. Rapid changes in technology make it impossible to predict what the future will hold for flashlights, but LEDs will certainly play a major role for the foreseeable future.

Today, I wanted to review the delicious Glas Basix Series eJuice Line. First off, the line is absolutely delicious! I was sent a beautiful, complimentary gift box with the line inside...not to mention when I opened it, I also found a vape t-shirt! I love some Vape Gear! Who doesn't? Then, came the Glas Signature Series Mech Mod (valued at$350.00)! I’ve been wanting to try this out for quite some time, so I was very happy to have the opportunity to not only use it but own it!

As I made my way through the box, I found the whole Baxis Series line was inside...and I tried them ALL! I love variety, not to mention that many of these flavors hold entirely different flavor profile within them...so you’ll never get sick of a flavor because you have a new option for each day! Not to mention a lot of these flavors are great for an ADV, as they’re not too potent, but still flavorful enough to get you through the day.

I fell in love with the Sugar Cookie Flavor. I starting using mesh coils with it and was hooked! Lemon Twist E-Liquid Review The Flavors

If you like fruity e-juice and don’t mind lower nicotine levels, Lemon Twist’s e-liquids are definitely worth trying out. The lemonade is consistently great and the fruits help to mix the flavor up a little, while remaining subtle enough to vape all day. Lemon Twist is one of the e-juice brands where you know what you’re getting right away. With a short line-up of four flavors on offer and an unavoidable clue in the name, there should be no surprise that they offer four lemon-infused flavors, basically fancy lemonades in e-juice form.

Peach Blossom Lemonade

Accuracy: This is a fancifully-described lemonade and peach blossom flavor, aiming to be a sweet but slightly sour offering with an emphasis on the peach. The juice itself definitely delivers on its promises. The peach is the dominant flavor note, but it’s nicely balanced against the backdrop of the lemonade, and the tastes themselves are well-replicated. It’s worth noting that the tastes are quite subtle, but both elements still come through clearly.

Overall: The subtlety of the flavors is what saves this one. With a really sharp hit from the lemonade or over-the-top sweetness from the peach, the flavor would have been too strong to vape through a whole day. But as it is, you get a pleasant touch of both the lemonade and peach and it goes down really easily. It isn’t the most drop-down delicious e-liquid you’ll have ever tasted, but it’s really well done and a potential all-day vape if the flavors are up your street.

Wild Watermelon Lemonade

Accuracy: Wild Watermelon Lemonade is pretty much what you’d expect, with the watermelon described as light and accompanied by sugary lemonade. The result is pretty good, notably stronger in flavor than the last juice and with the watermelon really taking center-stage. The watermelon replication is accurate, but it does have a slight perfume-like tinge to it. It takes over the flavor a little so the lemonade is definitely more of a backdrop, you don’t notice too much apart from a slight bite of sourness.

Overall: This flavor is OK but a little let down by the watermelon replication. The perfume-y elements take over the taste, and although it does still taste of watermelon, these elements drag the whole e-juice down. Others might not find it as aversive as I do, but even though the lemonade backing is well-executed the watermelon makes it difficult to enjoy.

Pink Punch Lemonade

Accuracy: Pink Punch Lemonade is described as a mixture of fruit punch and pink lemonade, combining the tartness of the lemonade with the sweetness of the strawberry and orange punch. This is quite a complicated mixture of flavors, but Lemon Twist has pulled it off really well. The pink lemonade is definitely true to the taste of the real thing, and it’s the most distinctive element of the flavor. The orange also comes through really clearly, particularly on the nose, while the strawberry doesn’t really jump out at you but blends in nicely with the overall mix.

Overall: This is a really delicious flavor. The pink lemonade backing is good enough to be an e-juice on its own, but the touches of strawberry and orange backing it up really take it to the next level. The result is a juice that’s sweet but also light and easy to vape, with enough character to differentiate it from the multitude of other fruity flavors on the market and just the right amount of tartness in the mix. This one is highly recommended, it’s an excellent e-juice.

Strawberry Mason Lemonade

Accuracy: This is a strawberry lemonade flavor, which may be fairly straightforward to describe but it’s definitely a unique mix in the world of e-liquid. The juice does a great job of blending an authentic strawberry flavor with a backdrop of lemonade. The strawberry is the main thing you pick up, with a mouthwatering sweetness to it but still subtle enough to allow the lemonade backing to come through as well.

Overall: This one is pretty much impossible to dislike. The expertly-captured sweetness of the strawberry carries the flavor and will mean you enjoy the flavor as long as you like the fruit. It’s made in partnership with Strawberry Queen, who as you might expect focus on strawberry-flavored juices and do a great job of capturing the flavor of the fruit. If there’s a criticism of this flavor it’s that the lemonade aspects don’t really add much, but overall it’s delicious and definitely one to pick up.
