Ice Hockey is a fast-paced, high-scoring game that is popular in many parts of the world. Ice hockey is played on a large flat surface called the ice, which is surrounded by walls called boards. Each team has six players who play on the ice at the same time. The object of the game is to score more points than your opponent by shooting a small rubber disk called a puck into their net.

 

In addition to being fun and exciting, ice hockey helps develop physical fitness and mental toughness. It requires good eye-hand coordination, quick reflexes and agility. A player must be able to skate quickly in any direction without falling down. It also teaches teamwork because each player has specific responsibilities for helping his or her teammates succeed.
