What the hell is going on?? Why the other crewing companies from Odessa call me every day begging for seafarers with the conditions of 300-400 USD for each seaman. Think, that those days are gone, when crew members payed for the employment.

Today one sailor has called me. I found him a job on a small vessel with the deadweight of 3400 T two weeks ago. This month he has signed the contract in the ship owners company, besides, he was supplied with the cash for his trip From Odessa to the nearest port of his embarkation. So... He has called me today with "the tears in the eyes" shouting why still he is not on the board of the vessel. I don't understand what's the problem. He is with the signed contract on the hands and with the cash money for the trip. What can I do if the vessel delays?


Just 5 minutes ago I have employed two seafarers: Electrician without and expirience ( hope he has ever seen the vessel) and Second Officer with the huge experience on the general cargo vessel. Electirician will sign the contract tomorrow noon time. A little boy, 19 years old... He is very happy to be employed, either do I.

Regarding 2/OFF: he will sign the contact on an approximately 09 May, due to the vessel in still not berthed in Ashdod. He adviced me that this is a perfect variant, due to some problems with his stomach and is going to treat it for 1 week.
