Мальчик 5-ти лет, был застрелен выстрелом в голову. Очень добрый человек, чья жизнь очень важна, подошел к мальчику, катающемуся на велосипеде. Подошел, и выстрелил в голову. 

Случилось это в Северной Каролине.

North Carolina man shot and killed 5-year old neighbor while playing in his yard, police say

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13)  A man in North Carolina shot and killed his five-year-old neighbor in front of the boy’s family, police say.

Police in Wilson, NC. said Darius Sessoms, 25, shot and killed Cannon Hinnant while the boy was playing in his yard with his family Sunday evening.

Cannon’s mother said her son was playing outside when Sessoms ran up to the boy, shot him in the head, then fled.

Doris Lybrand, a neighbor who witnessed the shooting, told local news sources in the area that Sessoms ran up to Cannon, put a gun to his head and fired before running back to his own house.

Lybrand said she first thought Sessoms was playing with the kids, but when she saw Cannon’s father’s reaction, she ran inside her home and called 911.

Cannon’s mother said the boy’s sisters, ages seven and eight, were playing with him when the shooting happened and witnessed their little brother get shot.

Cannon was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.

No details about a possible motive for the shooting have been released, but Wilson authorities believe the shooting wasn’t random. Sessoms lives next door to Cannon’s father. A neighbor said that the two men had dinner together Saturday night and that Sessoms was at Cannon’s father’s home earlier Sunday, the day of the shooting.

Sessoms was caught Monday night, about 24 hours after the shooting in the nearby town of Goldsboro. He was charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond in the Wilson County Jail.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise money for Cannons funeral expenses.

Закон позволяет не регистрировать педофила как педофила, если его жертва моложе самого преступника менее чем на 10 лет.

Если коротко, то после совершения преступления и после осуждения в Суде, педофилов в США заносят в определенные списки, после этого списки эти становятся доступны для всех. Просмотрев эти списки, все интересующиеся могут узнать, не живет ли человек, осужденный за педофилию рядом с вами. Нет ли опасности для детей, живущих рядом с преступником.

В общем, как я понимаю, демократы в Калифорнии решили облегчить жизнь осужденным уже педофилам.

No sex offender registry if perpetrator within 10 years of age of the minor

State Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) and Assemblywoman Susan Eggman (D-Stockton) introducedrecent legislation “to end blatant discrimination against LGBT young people regarding California’s sex offender registry.”

However, under their bill,SB 145,the offenders would not have to automatically register as sex offenders if the offenders are within 10 years of age of the minor.

Wiener claims the current law “disproportionately targets LGBT young people for mandatory sex offender registration, since LGBT people usually cannot engage in vaginal intercourse.”

Existing law,the Sex Offender Registration Act, amended byProposition 35by voters in 2012 (Ban on Human Trafficking and Sex Slavery), requires a person convicted of a certain sex crime to register with law enforcement as a sex offender while residing in California or while attending school or working in California.

Wienersays, “Currently, for consensual yet illegal sexual relations between a teenager age 15 and over and a partner within 10 years of age, ‘sexual intercourse’ (i.e., vaginal intercourse) does not require the offender to go onto the sex offender registry; rather, the judge decides based on the facts of the case whether sex offender registration is warranted or unwarranted. By contrast, for other forms of intercourse — specifically, oral and anal intercourse — sex offender registration is mandated under all situations, with no judicial discretion.”

“This bill would authorize a person convicted of certain offenses involving minors to seek discretionary relief from the duty to register if the person is not more than 10 years older than the minor,”SB 145 states.

Proposition 35 was created and passed to protect children from sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. Victims of sex trafficking are often vulnerable children, “afraid for their lives and abused—sexually, physically, and mentally,” the Propositionsaid.

What Does SB 145 Also Do?

Legislators Wiener and Eggman say they are trying to shield LGBT young people from having to automatically register as sex offenders for specified sex crimes. But their bill does much more.

SB 145 would allow a sex offender who lures a minor with the intent to commit a felony (i.e. a sex act) the ability to escape registering as a sex offender as long as the offender is within 10 years of age of the minor.  No specification is made as to whether the sexual offender is straight or LGBT.

SB 145 would add a section to the state’s penal code (Section 290.55) stipulating that as long as the offender is “not more than 10 years older than the minor,” they are not automatically mandated to register as a sex offender. There is no age limit or range specified, except for existing law which already excludes lewd acts with children under 14.

SB 145 appears to allow adults to victimize minors by luring them with the intent to have sex, and then shields the predator from being automatically registered as a sex offender, as in the case of a 25 year old luring a 15 year old for sex, or a 22 year old luring a 12 year old.

SB 145, as currently written, appears to allow certain sexual predators to live among the population without anyone being aware.

Why is this bill needed?

Here is the text fromSB 145:

This bill would authorize a person convicted of certain offenses involving minors to seek discretionary relief from the duty to register if the person is not more than 10 years older than the minor.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 290.55 is added to the Penal Code, immediately following Section 290.5, to read:

290.55. (a) A person convicted of an offense specified in subdivision (b) may, by writ of mandate, seek discretionary relief from the duty, imposed as a result of that conviction, to register pursuant to the act if, at the time of the offense, the person is not more than 10 years older than the minor, as measured from the minor’s date of birth to the person’s date of birth.

Here is thecurrent California Penal Code § 288.3(2017)

(a) Every person who contacts or communicates with a minor, or attempts to contact or communicate with a minor, who knows or reasonably should know that the person is a minor, with intent to commit an offense specified in Section 207, 209, 261, 264.1, 273a, 286, 287, 288, 288.2, 289, 311.1, 311.2, 311.4 or 311.11, or former Section 288a, involving the minor shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for the term prescribed for an attempt to commit the intended offense.

(b) As used in this section, “contacts or communicates with” shall include direct and indirect contact or communication that may be achieved personally or by use of an agent or agency, any print medium, any postal service, a common carrier or communication common carrier, any electronic communications system, or any telecommunications, wire, computer, or radio communications device or system.

(c) A person convicted of a violation of subdivision (a) who has previously been convicted of a violation of subdivision (a) shall be punished by an additional and consecutive term of imprisonment in the state prison for five years.

Last week,California Globe reportedon another sex crime bill introduced by California Democrats: “legislation to shield a person from the consequences of crimes they commit in California, even violent ones, as long as the person reports the crimes to authorities.The language of the proposed statute appears to immunize a person from ANY crime so long as they are reporting a violation of a sex crime law.”  Sen. Scott Wiener is the author of California Senate Bill 233.

Не очень понятно, на что живут все это время эти молодые протестанты. Вчера, разговорился со своей очень хорошей знакомой. Она потеряла работу и все это время получала пособие по безработице. Так вот, оказывается, безработным все это время платили по $700 долларов в неделю. Она мне сказала, что когда работала, получала намного меньше.

Конечно, можно на такие деньги не только жить, но и протестовать.

Начиная со следующей недели пособие сильно сократится. 

Вчера Габи отвезли к парикмахеру.

North Carolina city approves ‘reparations,’ apologizes for role in slavery

The council voted 7-0 on a measure to mitigate racial disparities

North Carolina’sAsheville City Council apologized for its role in slavery and racial discrimination, voting unanimously to provide reparations in the form of community investments to help Black residents.

The council voted 7-0 on Tuesday night on the measure to mitigate racial disparities. The reparations will not provide direct cash payments, as some have suggested, but will provide investments in housing, health care and career growth in Black neighborhoods.

Councilwoman Shaneika Smith, who is Black, said the council had gotten emails from those asking, Why should we pay for what happened during slavery?'

[Slavery] is this institution that serves as the starting point for the building of the strong economic floor for White America, while attempting to keep Blacks subordinate forever to its progress, said Smith, as reported by theAsheville Citizen Times.

The resolution calls on the city to create a Community Reparations Commission to make concrete recommendations of where to funnel programs and resources.

The resulting budgetary and programmatic priorities may include but not be limited to increasing minority home ownership and access to other affordable housing, increasing minority business ownership and career opportunities, strategies to grow equity and generational wealth, closing the gaps in health care, education, employment and pay, neighborhood safety and fairness within criminal justice, the resolution reads.

Hundreds of years of Black blood spilled that basically fills the cup we drink from today, said Councilman Keith Young, who is one of two African-American city council members and spearheaded the proposal.

It is simply not enough to remove statutes. Black people in this country are dealing with issues that are systemic in nature, Young continued.

Councilman Vijay Kapoor, who is known to split with Smith and Young on police and budget issues, said he supported the resolution for moral reasons, but urged skeptics to look at the “practical reason” — data showing large disparities between African-Americans and other Asheville residents.

“We dont want to be held back by these gaps, Kapoor said. We want everyone to be successful.

Oregon Attorney General Sues to Stop Federal Arrests of Portland Protesters

“Every American should be repulsed when they see this happening. If this can happen here in Portland, it can happen anywhere.”

Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum will file a lawsuit in federal court tonight seeking a temporary restraining order barring the Department of Homeland Security and other federal law enforcement agencies from seizing and detaining Portland protesters without probable cause.

Her announcement follows a July 16 report by Oregon Public Broadcasting that federal officers whisked away protesters in unmarked vans—rental vehicles, it now appears.

She also announced that the Oregon Department of Justice and the Multnomah County district attorney would open a criminal investigation into the July 11 injury of Donavan LaBella, whom a U.S. Marshals Service officer shot in the face with a munition.

Rosenblum announced her intention to file the lawsuit in U.S. District Court tonight, as a federal police crackdown on Portland continues against the wishes of local elected officials for the 15th consecutive night. (Disclosure: Rosenblum is married to the co-owner of WWs parent company.)

The federal administration has chosen Portland to use their scare tactics to stop our residents from protesting police brutality and from supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, Rosenblum said. Every American should be repulsed when they see this happening. If this can happen here in Portland, it can happen anywhere.

As the top legal officer in Oregon, Rosenblum is asking a federal judge to issue a temporary restraining order against four federal agencies: the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the Federal Protective Service, which guards federal buildings.

In late June, President Donald Trump created a task force out of those four agencies to defend federal monuments and buildings from protesters. He has chiefly deployed them to one city: Portland, where they have used the wide powers granted to federal police in spite of the objections of local officials.

Last Friday a man who describes himself on Twitter as “Formerly homeless addict in #recovery advocating for the #truth about homelessness and drug addiction. Faith, Hope and Love. SF Native. Tweets are my own.” tweeted to the city.

He wrote: “I just found out that homeless placed in hotels in SF are being delivered Alcohol, Weed and Methadone because they identified as an addict/alcoholic for FREE. Youre supposed to be offering treatment. This is enabling and is wrong on many levels. @SF_DPH @sfbos @LondonBreed

The citys department of public health confirmed the report on Twitter this week.

“These harm reduction based practices, which are not unique to San Francisco, and are not paid for with taxpayer money, help guests successfully complete isolation and quarantine and have significant individual and public health benefits in the COVID-19 pandemic.”

San Franciscofell far short of securing the more than 8,000 hotel rooms that city supervisors hoped to lease to house homeless and other at-risks populations needing to quarantine or socially distance themselves during the coronavirus pandemic.

The city had set a deadline to lease 8,250 hotel rooms for the homeless, frontline workers and those living in densely populated apartment buildings.

While there was no formal punishment for failing to lease the 8,250 hotel rooms, the lack of rooms is a blow for a city that even before the outbreak of COVID-19 was struggling to handle a growing crisis in homelessness.

California acquired more than 15,000 hotel rooms to shelter homeless people during the coronavirus pandemic, Gov. Gavin Newsom saidlast month.

Newsom said then that a new agreement with the Motel 6 hotel chain would provide an additional 5,025 hotel rooms at 47 locations in 19 counties.

“Today marks an important milestone for our efforts to protect very vulnerable homeless individuals from COVID-19, and to protect our hospitals more broadly from surges that challenge our capacity and stress our system,” the governor said.

Newsom made the announcement outside a Motel 6 in San Jose, where he touted his Project Roomkey initiative.

The federal government has agreed to pay 75 percent of costs associated with housing some people experiencing homelessness. The project covers people who test positive or may have been exposed to COVID-19, older homeless people and those with underlying health conditions.

Squirrel In Morrison Tests Positive For Bubonic Plague

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – A squirrel in Jefferson County tested positive for bubonic plague. Jefferson County Public Health says the squirrel was found in Morrison.

Yersinia pestis, a bacteria, causes the infectious disease. Humans can be infected by the plague through bites from infected fleas or by indirect exposure, such as cough, or direct exposure, like a bite, from an infected animal.

An infected person or animal can suffer from high fever, chills, headache, nausea and swelling of lymph nodes. The symptoms show up within two to seven days after exposure.

Antibiotics can treat the disease.

Jefferson County Public Health recommends the following precautions be taken to protect yourself and your pets from plague.

• Eliminate all sources of food, shelter and access for wild animals around the home.


• Do not feed wild animals.


• Maintain a litter and trash-free yard to reduce wild animal habitats.


• People and pets should avoid contact with sick or dead wild animals and rodents.


• Use precaution when handling sick pets. Have sick pets examined by a veterinarian.


• Consult with your veterinarian about flea and tick control for your pets.


• Keep pets from roaming freely outside the home where they may prey on wild animals and bring the disease home with them.

This is the first case of bubonic plague in the county.

Весьма любопытное письмо. Как я понимаю, это письмо одного из освободителей, пришедших освобождать нецивилизованных дикарей. 

Я здесь уже третий год, а иногда кажется, что всю жизнь. За три года я потерял здесь двух братьев. Вчера от матери получил известие о том, что не стало Юрги& Его машина попала под обстрел русских лесных бандитов на проселочной дороге.  Дядя, эту войну очень сложно выиграть, она идёт без правил и чести. Как можно победить тех кто никогда не поймёт, что он её проиграл. Советы потерпели поражение ещё в 1941-ом, но так этого не поняли и не признали. Почему русские не умеют воевать честно? За что они цепляются?

Любой ценой они поворачивают вспять уже проигранные сражения, не считаясь с потерями как дикие звери вгрызаются в свои деревни, в которых нет ничего кроме глины и соломы, да старых печных труб. Неужели Юрги рос в любви, ходил в церковный хор, закончил в школу, чтобы его грузовик обстреляли неграмотные и подлые бандиты, которые ходят в тряпье и стреляют из ржавых винтовок? Эта русская чернь ничего не видела в свой жалкой жизни.

За прошедшие выходные дни вспышка насилия по всей стране. 

В Чикаго, 104 человека пострадали от огнестрельного оружия. 14 человек убито. Среди них 3-х летний ребенок и несколько подростков.

• At approximately 9:52 p.m. Friday, a group was standing outside in the 4800 block of West Gladys in the Austin neighborhood when a car pulled up and someone inside opened fire, striking three men. A 34-year-old man was shot in the neck and taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A 43-year-old man was shot in the lower back and took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition. A 34-year-old man was shot in the foot and remains in stable condition at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park.


• At around 10:24 p.m. Friday, a 32-year-old man was shot multiple times inside his vehicle in the 4100 block of West Congress Parkway in the Garfield Park neighborhood. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he later died, authorities said.


• On Saturday evening, a 3-year-old was shot and killed while riding in a vehicle in the Austin neighborhood on the citys West Side, police officials said. The shooting was reported at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the 600 block of North Central Avenue in the Austin neighborhood. A 27-year-old man told police he was driving southbound on Central Avenue when an unknown occupant inside of a blue Honda fired shots, striking him and his 3-year-old male passenger.The young child sustained a gunshot wound to the back and was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park where he was pronounced dead.


• Just over an hour later, also in Austin, a 27-year-old male was shot and killed at approximately 7:46 p.m. in the 200 block of North Central Avenue, police officials said. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the torso and was transported to West Suburban Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. A second male victim, 32 years old, suffered a gunshot wound to the left foot and was said to be in good condition at the hospital.


• At approximately 6:58 p.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of North Western Avenue in the Logan Square neighborhood, one man was shot and killed and another was injured following an argument with a group of individuals, police said. A 23-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to the neck and was pronounced dead on scene. The second victim, a 24-year-old man, suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and went to Saint Marys Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.


• Two teens were fatally shot at around 5:10 p.m. on Saturday in an alley in the 7900 block of South Luella in the South Chicago neighborhood, police said. The 17-year-old male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the back, chest and left hand, and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced. The 16-year-old male victim also died at the hospital.


• A 13-year-old girl was killed while inside a home in a shooting that left two other teens wounded in the Austin neighborhood Saturday evening, according to police. At around 8:36 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Leclaire, two male teenagers were sitting on a porch when police said one noticed a red laser pointed at him and heard multiple gunshots. The 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg and the 15-year-old boy was shot in the lower back, officials said. Both were taken to Mount Sinai in good condition. A 13-year-old girl who was inside the resident at the time was shot in the right side of her neck and taken to Stroger Hospital, where she died early Sunday, authorities said.


• In the 2600 block of West Potomac in West Town at approximately 12:04 a.m. Sunday, a group of men were in a verbal altercation with another group when someone began firing shots, police said. A 41-year-old man was shot multiple times throughout the body and pronounced dead at the scene. A 23-year-old man was shot in the left knee and hip as a 21-year-old man was shot in each leg. Both were taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition. A 34-year-old man was shot in the same scene in his legs and arms, then taken to Mount Sinai hospital where he has been released.


• At approximately 7:20 p.m. Sunday in the 6200 block of North Troy, a man was shot and killed when an unknown suspect approached him and fired shots, police stated. The victim was taken to AMITA Health Saint Francis Hospital Evanston where he was pronounced dead.


• Two teenage boys were shot, one fatally, at around 12:18 a.m. Monday, according to police. The two were walking in an alley in the 4700 block of West Superior when someone inside a vehicle, possibly a gray sedan, opened fire. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg, chest and abdomen and was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A 16-year-old boy was shot in the ankle and taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, officials said.


• At around 4:26 a.m. Monday, a 41-year-old man was on the street in the 3800 block of West Harrison when an unknown assailant shot him in the face, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he died at around 5:21 a.m., officials said. A person of interest was taken into custody for questioning after being identified as the possible offender by individuals near the scene, according to police.


• A 30-year-old man was walking in the 100 block of South Washtenaw at around 4:18 a.m. when someone in the alley opened fire. He was shot in the neck and taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.


• At around 6:45 a.m., a 24-year-old man was dropped off at Mount Sinai by an unknown person, according to police. He had sustained a gunshot wound to his upper right chest and was pronounced dead, officials say.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Marion County had the most confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases of the 17 counties in the Monday report from the Oregon Health Authority.

Of the 146 cases reported, Marion County had 47, followed by Washington’s 27, Multnomah’s 17, Clackamas’ 15 and Umatilla’s 11. That means 5 counties accounted for 117 of the 146 cases.

The other counties with cases are Benton, Deschutes, Douglas, Hood River, Jackson, Jefferson, Lane, Lincoln, Morrow, Union, Wasco and Yamhill.

Two more people died from COVID-19, authorities said — a 68-year-old man in Lincoln County and a 90-year-old woman in Marion County.

There is now a total of 7083 cases reported in Oregon with 192 deaths.

The group of people at NE Sandy and 57th has pulled down the George Washington statue and vandalized it with graffiti. Those responsible have left and police are now on the scene.

Protesters near the Justice Center have started walking north on SW 6th Street.

10:40 p.m.

There are dozens of people now at NE Sandy and 57th. Some appear to be trying to set up a road barricade using newspaper stands and other items. The KOIN 6 crew at the scene hasn’t heard or seen any Black Lives Matter messaging, signs or chants.

10:20 p.m.

A small crowd of protesters has gathered outside of the Justice Center in downtown Portland and are chanting slogans like “Black lives matter!” Some people have shaken the fence and sailed paper airplanes over the top into the police-only zone.

9:30 p.m.

About 20 demonstrators have covered the head of a statue of George Washington in a flag and set fire to the flag at NE Sandy and 57th. There also appears to be some graffiti on the statute.
