Durham is a beautiful city in the North east of England which i went to visit at the end of March. It was my first visit to the city and i was amazed at how beautiful it was and took quite a few pictures.



Im going to post most of the photo's i have, so i may not be able to carry on this thread after the first few posts. This is the first thread i have started and i took these pictures with a rather average camera so forgive me for the pictures that may be a tad blurry . I will be getting a new camera soon and will use that for a new Liverpool thread i will start in a few months. So in a way im using this thread as a tester :P



Anyway, Enjoy the photos:








Above is the Castle on the left and the beautiful Cathedral on the right, this is the view as you get of the train. Both the castle and the cathedral were built on a hill with the town surrounding it.
































Unfortunately there were some resurfacing works in the main square, but its still quite easy to grasp its beauty
