Old towns of Germany: Hachenburg

This is the castle of Hachenburg, built 1715-1746, here a pic form the distance.





Nowadays, inside the castle you find the University of Applied Sciences of the German Federal Bank.

The building to the left is said to be the oldest stone house inn in Germany. Built 1439. Renovated into the Renaissance-style in 1531.
