1. Puerta de Toledo was a bit disappointing, especially considering I walked all the way there from Plaza Mayor. However, since I had just finished lunch, it was a good exercise to walk off the food. From this angle, it looks very tiny and insignificant.

4. With this attraction now scratched off my list, I wandered through some local streets to head back to Plaza Mayor. The guidebook didn't have much to say about this part of town. The buildings were less ornate but nevertheless were well-kept.
9. The side streets were not clogged with traffic, and made the walking experience more pleasant. The temperatures were just perfect on this autumn day.
17. Now I'm back in Sol and continue my walking tour to a huge park just east of the old town centre.
27. I used to find amazement at the sight of double decker buses outside the UK and Hong Kong. However, these tourist double deckers are getting so common these days everywhere, I'm no longer so intrigued, yet still interested to take a photo.
30. I came by here on the first day, but it was late and the lighting was not so good so those photos came out poorly. I probably came a bit too late in the day since most of the building was not lit already.
