Is there really such thing as a promise? Circumstances change. People change. How can we promise something when can never be completely sure ourselves? How can we swear up and down we will never hurt someone or let them down when we may never know that the little things are what hurt people? How can we say we'll never leave someone when we may have no choice in the end? How can promises really be true if they can be broken? How can assure someone you will not do something, when you yourself may change? Is promise just some word we throw around to give them trust in us? A promise can never be guaranteed due to changes in life
