Diamond Mesh Slipped stitch | Knitting Stitch Patterns/5177462_knitdiamondmeshstitch (400x300, 1030Kb)

Techniques used in this pattern:
Knit: K | Purl: P | Left twist: LT | Right twist: RT.
Slip stitch: Sl | With yarn in back: Wyib | Wyif: With yarn in front.

+ How to knit: Left cross & right cross.
The first way:
Left cross: Skip 1 stitch and knit through the back loop of second stitch, knit through the back loop of three stitch, leave on needle; then knit the skipped stitch, slip them from the needle together.
Right cross: Skip 2 stitches and knit the three stitch, leave on needle; then knit the firts stitch, knit the second stitch, then slip them from the needle together.
The second way:
Left cross: Drop next st off needle to front of work, knit 2, then pick up dropped st and knit it.
Right cross: Slip 2 with yarn in back, drop next st off needle to front of work, slip the same 2 sts back to left-hand needle, then pick up dropped st and knit it, knit 2.

+ Knitted in a multiple of 6 sts +2 and a 12-row repeat
Row 1 (Right side): K1, * sl 1 wyib, k4, sl 1; rep from * to last st, k1.
Row 2: P1, * sl 1 wyif, p4, sl 1; rep from * to last st, p1.
Repeat rows 1-2 once more.
Row 5: K1, * LC, RC; repeat from * to last st, k1.
Row 6: Purl all sts.
Row 7: K3, sl 1 wyib, * sl 1 wyib, k4, sl 1 wyib; repeat from to last 4 sts, sl 1 wyib, k3.
Row 8: P3, sl 1 wyif, * sl 1 wyif, p4, sl 1 wyif; rep from * to last 4 sts, sl 1 wyif, p3.
Repeat rows 7-8 once more.
Row 11: K1, * RC, LC; repeat from * to last st, k1.
Row 12: Purl all sts.
