20s: Think Pink

30s: Focus on Your Pout

"Stay fresh without looking as if you're trying too hard by applying a vibrant, creamy lip gloss," says Ricky Wilson, a Dior celebrity makeup artist. We like Clark's Botanicals Ultra Rich Lip Tint in Carlotta Pink ($19). Keep the rest of your makeup natural with a bit of black liner and mascara.

 

40s: Play with Color

Brighten eyes instantly with shimmery shadows. Try Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Color in ($25 each) Fondant, Peach, and Sky. Dust the blue or sea foam across your lid, "and use the light peach to highlight the brow bone and inner corner of the eye," says makeup artist Sue Devitt.

50s: Look Luminous (but Put Down the Glitter)

"Add a beautiful glow to your face with shimmer, not glitter," says Wilson. Try Dior Poudrier Dentelle Powder in Pink Lace ($55). "Anything too frosty will accentuate lines, but a fine, luminous texture will help diffuse wrinkles," he notes. "Place it above your cheekbones and dust it across your eyelids."

 

 

60s and Up: Brighten Your Cheeks

Create a more youthful appearance with a sheer cream blush. Avoid pressed powders, which can settle into lines and make you look older. We like Sue Devitt Gel-to-Powder Blush in Marion Reef ($20). "It contains marine-collagen filling spheres to help smooth wrinkles," explains Devitt. She suggests blending it high on the apple of your cheek.
