It was quite entertaining for me to guess the ingredients. Staying at a hot spring resort to relax at the end of your Taitung trip sounds like an excellent idea? Zhiben Hot Springs contains colorless, odorless Alkaline carbon.
As you take off from the launch site, you will be surrounded by stunning views of the mountains, forests, and farms below. The adrenaline rush of flying through the air, feeling weightless and free, is an experience you won’t soon forget. You’ll be surrounded 台東特產 by lush greenery and breathtaking scenery that will make you feel like you’re in a different world. So, if you’re up for a challenge and want to experience something truly unforgettable, make sure to add river tracing to your Taitung travel itinerary.

Dream Cafe, a quaint coffee shop located within the Taitung County Building, offers reasonably priced and satisfying regular coffee. While there is no English menu available, the staff members are cordial and despite their limited proficiency in English, they are accommodating and willing to assist customers. As a marriott 10+ years member, I always trying to stay at Marriott so I choose this hotel and I always recommended friend to stay at Marriott brand hotel. This is first time I would say DO NOT come to this hotel. There is plenty of other hotel better and nicer hotel than this one in Taitung.
Great coffee, friendly people in a characteristic store. The book store café, 食冊cafe書店, is a charming and serene establishment where one can enjoy a peaceful cup of tea or coffee. It boasts an impressive assortment of books that cover various genres such as literature, cooking, and social sciences.
Smelly tofu with herbal soup was really hearty and comforting, which was perfect for a cold rainy day. There were also pork chop and the usual oyster omelette. I’ve been to many and this one was very well put together. The price is very affordable for both locals and tourists. My husband and I really enjoyed learning through the exhibits. Amazing performing artists, a night of magic, music, trinkets and food.

Rooms here are quite cheap and the decoration does its best to introduce you to the aboriginal aesthetic. Double rooms start at under NT$950 during off-peak times. Possibly a misspelling of the Spanish, “Kasa” offers Western favorites that you might be surprised to find so far away from their home, such as Tex-Mex, bagels and pizza. Imagine waking up to the warm rays of the sun gently streaming through your window, casting a golden glow on the elegant furnishings of your room. As you step out onto the balcony, the breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape unfolds before your eyes. Keep in mind that some festivals may have limited capacity, so don’t wait too long to buy your tickets if you’re really interested in attending.
These are a cheap but fun Taiwan souvenir or gift idea. Next, head to Ximending, where there are several otaku souvenir shops of interest. Animate Store will satisfy all your manga/anime souvenir needs, while Animate Café has a branch here and here nearby. For Pokemon products, there’s a brand new Pokemon store here on the 3rd floor of Shinkong Mitsukoshi department store building A11.

The attraction is open all year round, but it’s best to visit during the early morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds and enjoy the mesmerizing sunrise or sunset views. This museum deserves more than just the name ‘Museum of prehistory’ as it displays a lot of the indigenous cultures of Taiwan in a very colourful and interactive way. It has quite a big display of natural history as well as today’s challenges to preserve nature and wildlife in a modern country that Taiwan is too. The building is quite impressive and there is much sculptural art in the garden worth having a look at. Most of all exhibitions are also in English though unfortunately not all interactive tools worked in the English version. Still, this place is more than worth a visit even though it’s a bit remote .

The staff were friendly, creating a relaxed atmosphere that wasn't overwhelming.
The chef's exceptional culinary skills are evident in every plate that is served. Notably, the chicken dish stands out as truly remarkable, while the other menu options also garner positive reviews. Apart from the delightful food, Kimbo's atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming.
They accept my foreign credit card for all payments. This is our usual shopping destination in Taitung. I tried a couple of restaurants, but in my opinion, Rong Shu Xia has the best rice noodles in town. Whether you like to eat lamb as breakfast or not, the restaurant only opens in the morning. So forget about your hotel breakfast and go get in line. For the best experience, stay at Hotel Royal Chihpin.

First, as a bonvoy lifetime platinum member, i will get bonvoy points as welcome gift and I can go to the concierge/club lounge for breakfast with my kids. But this hotel does not offer breakfast at club lounge. If you want to have breakfast, you can’t get welcome gift and the breakfast only for 2. Second, this hotel is a 5 stars hotel, but it surprised me that the lobby is stinky especially when standing closer to the lobby bathroom. There is no actual bathroom in the room, it use a curtain to separate the shower area and a matte glass door for the toilet area.

In America), the phrase takes on a whole new meaning in Taiwan where you can buy locally made computer memory chips for about the same price as a bag of imported potato chips. Of course the largest Harry Potter gift shop in London is going to be at the Harry Potter Studio Tour. I love books as a souvenir because they will reflect the differences in British English spelling and language and can be a souvenir that gets passed down from generation to generation. From the “Horrible Histories” series featuring history stories in a way that kids will find engaging to Paddington books, London has such a rich literary history. Net hammocks are a popular choice due to their open-net design that allows for much better airflow. By now, though, you know a bunch of marvelous souvenirs from Chile that you can pack your suitcase with when you visit the country. A few highlights here are Creado en Chile, The Market Chile, and Mercado Patache Gourmet — where you can shop for wine and other Chilean specialties. A wonderful place to hunt for handicrafts and lapis lazuli jewelry is the historic Los Dominicos Village, a cultural center that features art exhibits and theater performances as well. It is famous for the thousands of torii gates that line the road leading to its main shrines. The significance of the shrines located at Fushimi Inari is to honor Inari, the Shinto god of rice. The boss will then poke a hole in each tofu and drizzle a special concoction of chili sauce and serve it with a generous portion of preserved vegetables. And I have to say it is really, extremely stinky, but X and I really love it very much! The crispy tofu, spicy sauce and preserved vegetables… it is by far the best plate of stinky tofu we have ever eaten. At the recommendation of our hostel aka min-su (民宿) owners, we visited 2 extremely popular food stores. If you want to take your gift-giving to the next level, consider taking pottery classes and making your own tea set. When getting letter cards from book shops, they’ll likely just have photos of some landmark.
Each menu is complete with starter, entree, and dessert from around the country. Do not go to the one directly across from 7-11 on the main road, this is the one guides and books will say to go, but its not the best nor is it original. In addition to the normal bag version of Demae Ichomen, there is also a cup version of Demae Ichomen that can be purchased. In terms of taste, the cup version of Demae Ichomian is not much different from the general Demae Ichomian, but it comes with a small amount of ingredients, and you only need to add hot water to eat it. Compared with the bagged version of Demae Ichonmen, Demae Ichon Cup Noodles are a bit more convenient. If you also want to take Demae Ichomen home, but you are afraid of crushing the Demae Ichomen in the bag, buying a few cup versions of Demae Ichomen is also a good choice. There is nothing I love more after a trip than savouring a cup of coffee my first morning home and enjoying some (still fresh!) baked goods picked up last minute from a local bakery abroad. I came upon Sandholt Bakery on my first visit, and made a point to head back on my next trip. While some volcanic rock jewelery can be tacky, I loved the elegant designs at Gullkunst Helgu.
The Tao are famous for their Flying Fish Festival, partially underground houses, and beautiful hand-carved traditional canoes. Nearby, seafood lovers can head to Fugang Fish Harbor to enjoy one of the harborside seafood restaurants. This is also where ferries depart for Green Island (see “Offshore Islands of Taitung” section below). Lisong Hot Spring (栗松溫泉) is one of the most beautiful wild hot springs in Taiwan. The spring is known for its vibrant green and yellow colors painting the cliff from which it seeps down into riverside pools. Luye (鹿野) is one of my favorite places to spend the night along Highway 9.

Visit these articles to learn more about both Japanese masks and the yokai that inspire many of them. Geta sandals are the traditional Japanese sandals most commonly paired with kimono and yukata. Made from one piece of wood, the sandal was originally designed to raise the wearer from the ground to keep their hems from getting muddy. They can take a little getting used to but geta sandals are a unique shoe option and a great souvenir choice. Men’s kimono jackets are a stylish way to infuse your wardrobe with that timeless Japanese aesthetic.

With its diverse exhibition halls and a wide array of fascinating artifacts, it's sure to captivate you for hours. You can even take some beautiful photos if you're in a hurry, but be prepared for some sun exposure. There is a lovely park and area outside of the museum to walk and relax and take pictures. You can but tickets to the permanent exhibition, the temporary exhibition or a combined ticket for both. Everything is clearly labeled and there is a mix of different things to see.
A very important thing you should know is that the new Taitung train station is not downtown. It takes roughly 15 minutes to travel by bus or taxi between Taitung train station and the downtown area, which is kind of an annoyance. There is not much interesting around the new station, apart from the BeiBBBBBB Museum. Taitung’s food offerings are various thanks to the heavy influence of a number of indigenous specialties.

Although it may appear to be a maze, this location is actually ideal for shopping and exploring due to the abundance of things to see and purchase. There is a bicycle trail next to it, which is very comfortable to walk. The picture book library itself is small, but very warm and cute. There are picture books on the shelves that you can read, and graffiti books and toys on the table that you can play with. Basically, the clerk will not care about you too much after explaining it to you, and you can feel free to Be in this space. In addition to selling picture books, the picture book store also has some exclusive Laima products (at least I haven't seen them outside).

Still, this rocky stretch of coastline is pretty, with lots of little tidal pools to explore. The gift shop is on the second floor after entering from the front. Went on a weekday so there’s less people and more space to enjoy the museum. The eating area is quite small so we had to wait for a table to become available. A great place to visit to see a restored historical department store from the Japanese era.
Most importantly, bring back delectable homemade desserts, artisanal fashion and accessories, or even one-of-a-kind personalized keepsakes. Kenting Night Market is a bustling and vibrant market offering a wide array of Taiwanese delicacies such as fried squid and grilled corn. Located at the southernmost tip of Taiwan, it provides an abundance of grilled seafood and fresh fruit shakes, making it a paradise for food enthusiasts. The resort is entirely run by the Bunun tribe and is a true success story of a local initiative bringing employment and empowerment to the local aboriginal people. Bicycles are on hire everywhere in town, but the best ones are found at the Giant shop, housed in the historic railway station 60 meters to the right after you exit the modern station. Fuyuan National Forest Recreation Area (富源國家森林遊樂區), in neighborhing Wanrong Township, is famous for its swarms of butterflies, which can be seen here in spring in summer. However, we didn’t have much luck when we visited in early spring one year, so I would only suggest coming here in late spring or summer. It felt rushed but it was certainly doable, and this wasn’t a problem for us since our main goal was to spend several days in Kenting.
This energetic performance of drumming and singing in Amis authentically showcases Pisirian’s traditional culture. In addition to watching the show, visitors also get a chance to play some “PawPaw” drums with the help of the performers. This is a trip that will surely get you in touch with the warmth here at Pisirian.

It involves stretching gooey maltose in sugary dough and twisting it until it starts separating into ultra-thin strands. While simple in nature, they offer a sense of nostalgia for locals and a showcase of Hong Kong craftsmanship. Head to Chung King Yong Yau in Wan Chai for some of the best-designed tin toys in Hong Kong.

The market is packed with local people especially during weekends. The ambiance is good and the people are just friendly and nice. Surely you can shop around and pick anything that comes up your way as you walk down to the end of the street. It is also a walking distance within 15 mins especially for those who stay close to Kaohsiung station. Make sure you come and visit when you're in a nearby area. I would definitely come back when there's a chance.
Whether you like to eat lamb as breakfast or not, the restaurant only opens in the morning. So forget about your hotel breakfast and go get in line. The coastal 最炫伴手禮 park highlights unique rock formations naturally created by marine erosion. If Yehliu has the Queen’s Head, Xiao Yehliu has mushrooms, tofu, etc.

As a testament to the wealth of the Taiwanese government, the museum was designed by epically-famous American architect Michael Graves. The museum uses archaeological artifacts to pull you through the history of Taiwan all the way from the island’s geological formation to the development of its aboriginal culture. If you're looking for a casual dining spot to enjoy familiar and affordable Taiwanese dishes, look no further than 老東台米台目. This restaurant offers a variety of noodle, meat, and soup options that are sure to satisfy your cravings.
Theres even a cycling pathway, and pathway suitable for jogging and walking. The light tram rail also crosses this bridge to the right. It is very convenient that you don't have to wait too long for a ferry.
So you can definitely have enough and qualified dinner with a fair price in here. Kimbo's restaurant is highly praised for its delectable cuisine and the waiter's outstanding suggestions. The fare consists of mouthwatering dishes, such as savory pork, flavorful beef noodles, and appetizing eggplant.

Although it was cheap and relatively quick, the taste does not justify the hype. We ordered a fried chicken drumstick & a chicken sandwich. These items are already pre-fried and sit under a heat lamp. The chicken was average, seasoning was fine, but really nothing out of the ordinary. It's not actual fried chicken, but a ground chicken patty.
If you're looking to find gifts to bring to family and friends after visiting the Philippines this is the place to go. They also have a huge selection of traditional Pinoy clothing for special occasions. We spent almost an hour shopping here and will definitely come back. There are some items that you cannot find elsewhere.Good area to leverage local products.Depends on your budget and time, you can find beautiful jewelry not expensive at all.

We have a wide range of goods to choose from, so you’re sure to find the perfect treasure. The MUJI Mobile is more than a food-truck equivalent of selling stationary, clothing and snacks. On surface level, it acts merely as a bridge; an extension of MUJI’s reach to customers in remote locations. Soon, however, it will also be a mobile children library, equipped with picture books accompanied by story time for children. The truck in tandem with the reading space with over 300 picture books in their Taitung store is making reading more accessible for Taitung youth all over the county.
I guess we were charged foreigner prices - this was more expensive than Morimoto New York! Interestingly-decorated Japanese restaurant with a variety of set meals and single-order items. Each set meal came with a bowl of soup, rice, seared tuna sashimi, and small sides.
Filipino handicrafts, such as wooden products, offer a unique and authentic souvenir for visitors. These items, including spoons, bowls, lampshades, and figurines, are popular choices and showcase the intricate craftsmanship of Filipino artisans. As a result, it consistently draws both locals and visitors from afar to come and relax, especially on weekends and holidays.

You can walk right along the train tracks here, where a few train cars are parked. There’s also some original wooden Train Warehouses (台東舊站機關車庫 and 台東鐵道藝術村261倉庫) and Old Taitung Train Station Platform (台東舊站轉車台). If you want to drive from Hualien to Taitung, I recommend renting a car here and reading my guide to driving a car in Taiwan. Next, I’ll cover Taitung’s two of Taiwan’s best small islands, Green Island and Orchid Island. Finally, there are a few more places you might want to add to your Taitung itinerary south of Taitung city, heading towards Pingtung and Kenting National Park at the southern tip of Taiwan.

Handmade Shop in Haji LaneSingapore’s vibrant and diverse design scene reflects the country’s multicultural heritage. Local designers produce a wide range of products, from fashion and accessories to home decor and art. These items often incorporate traditional Singaporean motifs, offering a stylish and modern way to remember your visit. Another must-visit store is Ilocos Norte Souvenir Gallery in Batac City, home to the famous Marcos Museum. This shop is known for its selection of traditional Ilocano handicrafts, such as Abel Iloco blankets and handwoven baskets.

Find Taitung's No 1 Souvenirs & Gift Store

SourceOld buildings from the railway company were turned into an art space where artists can exhibit their art and get a space to work. The exhibitions change regularly and a walking track has been built outside. During summer, the place hosts a craft market and regular events, especially concerts. It’s one of Taitung’s most popular attractions and a local hang-out spot. The fifth and last park on my list, Peinandazhen Riverside Park is a small park with not much to offer apart from a nice view over the surrounding mountains.
With its breathtaking landscapes, pristine beaches, and picturesque mountains, Taitung offers an unforgettable travel experience that is hard to find anywhere else. We had an amazing time at 方克一巧克力 Funky Chocolate, a hidden gem we found 台東名產網購 on Google. This place exceeded our expectations with its positive reviews. We opted for their set menu priced at NT$380, which included a delightful dark chocolate smoothie and a varied assortment of their handcrafted chocolates.

Guests can view the city from the terrace at this property and enjoy meals at the on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is available throughout The Suites Taitung and free private parking is available on-site. All air-conditioned and soundproofed rooms come with a desk, a safe and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Bottled water, an electric kettle and a refrigerator are also available in each room. For guests’ comfort, they can find bathrobes, slippers, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Each room has a private bathroom with walk-in shower and a bidet.
My impression to this magnificent ocean views with unique but spectacular rocks is probably the best in Taiwan. I personally think it’s better than the famous Yeliu. There are many rocks look like toad, frog, pig, kun ing, or even twisted human face. Hope the local government can put more efforts to take better care of this fabulous beach. The hotel had good hot springs but none of them are “natural” they are all in man made concrete pools.

The caterpillars that provide the fiber are kept on a strict diet of mulberry leaves, which guarantees the softness of the end product. Keep in mind that the original Thai silk products are a bit more expensive and can reach prices up to 6.000 THB. If that’s too expensive for you, you can get a regular elephant-printed scarf at any night-market around town for a fraction of the cost. The best swimming hole on the entire island...and the reason for that is simply that they haven't changed anything. Example is how the natural salt water hot springs lost its appeal after major buildings were erected. If you follow the trail to the right of the lighthouse walking towards the ocean you will come to a wooden deck overlooking the coast.
Some unique blends, like the Singapore Breakfast Tea, incorporate local flavours like pandan and pineapple. These teas offer a flavorful memory of your visit to Singapore. From iconic Merlion keepsakes to the aroma of orchid perfumes, these souvenirs offer a tangible piece of the city’s rich culture and history. Tea is the most-drinked beverage in the world after water. Many tea brands in Taiwan insist on quality and only use high mountain tea grown locally in Taiwan.

Perfect Food is authentic and good for very affordable prices! Lots of merchandise and grocery items at 'palengke' prices. From staples - noodles, canned goods, snacks and drinks, to school supplies, slippers, kid's toys, baking/cooking supplies, to animal feeds, they got it. After arriving from the Lighthouse, you can buy souvenirs and have a snack.
Great atmospheric with nice/easy jazz background music. Waffles at other tables smelled so sweet and looked so tasty. Will definitely return next time to try those waffles. Delicious hand-brewed coffee, a mini shop that takes advantage of the remaining space due to the road widening.
You’ll find lots of teashops, cheap street food and restaurants that serve everything from Sushi to Kimchi and from burgers to dumplings. This “Night Market” starts being crowded around noon. In Taitung City, travelers can find unique home decor items and artistic pieces that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the region. One popular souvenir choice is indigenous handicrafts, such as woven baskets, wood carvings, and beaded jewelry made by the local indigenous tribes. These items often feature intricate designs and vibrant colors, making them excellent statement pieces for home decor.

There are various designs, relatively affordable and small enough to easily fit in your luggage. Every time you see these items, they serve as a pleasant reminder of your trip to Singapore. TeaTWG, a luxury tea brand established in Singapore, offers a wide variety of high-quality teas.
I think it is best to go with a guide who is familiar with the area. After 1.5-hour of mountain activities, bathing in the milky spring water surrounded by the brown and jade green rock walls must feel so heavenly. You may also consider watching PawPaw Drum at the Pisirian Cultural Center.

It’s a popular stop for drivers on the highway just a few minutes north of Xiaoyeliu. Bus 8101 and a few others make the trip from Taitung – use GoogleMaps for the current times. However, it’s not possible or easy to access the water here.

My favorite is the Jumbo 420, followed by the Gloss 3mm. So go for these if you are used to thick guitar picks. If you have never tried any of them, the variety pack will give you a great “taste” of what the collection has to offer, with picks ranging from 0.73mm all the way to 3mm. This reduces from the brightness of the high gloss finish but doesn’t numb it so its still have some nice bite to it, but it’s not overpowering. I feel like Memrise is only good up until a certain point though. It tries to be a complete language learning app, but its strength really lies in vocabulary and flashcards. Check it out; we found out some good things about this one. The use of a few natural ingredients and price were positive. The lack of research used to support the weight-loss claims, leaves us concerned about Lipodrops.

Ranking, it's crucial to recognize that your website serves as your digital business card. However, Drops simply won’t do as a stand-alone language learning resource. Clozemaster offers you a quick way to learn new, important words that you’ll use daily. It does so by presenting you with sentences where you have to fill in the blank with a new vocabulary word. LingoDeer offers 13 languages, including French, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Thai and Vietnamese.

The G3 P800 is a tankless reverse osmosis system, which means it’s space-saving, can fit in smaller under-sink spaces with limited room, and doesn’t use a bulky water tank. Another unique perk of the unit is that it comes with a UV purifier (which boasts a 99.9% sterilization rate), so we had the reassurance of protection against pathogens. I have read testimonials of runners using these shoes as racers for half and full marathon levels and saying they performed at a high level.
