Сумочки модерна и арт-деко.

В отделке старинных сумочек использовались дорогие материалы: черепаха, перламутр, серебро, золото, слоновая кость.



В 1868 был изобретен целлулоид, он стал доступным заменителем слоновой кости и позволил делать недорогие, но качественные имитации, в том числе и для дамских сумочек.
