Who will receive the once-in-a-lifetime honor of Rookie of the Year award this season? With the professional volleyball V-League nearing the end of its fifth round, the outline of Rookie of the Year award is taking shape. Kim Se-bin Korea Expressway Corporation in the women's category and Lee Jae-hyun Samsung Fire in the men's category are narrowing down to leading candidates, but the presence of late runners is no less than that of latecomers.

 

Rookie of the year award in the V-League can be given to first-year professional players who have participated in more than 12 games, or one-third of their debut season. The final winner will be decided through a vote of reporters after the end of the regular season.

 

In the women's team, Kim Sebin, who was ranked No. 1 in the first round of rookie draft, won the Rookie of the Year award early on. Kim Sebin, who became the starting middle blocker from the beginning of the season due to veteran Jung Dae-young's transfer, has played 29 matches and 110 sets so far.
