He is the only person ever to have climbed the Universal Studios ball, a version of their trademark, outside the studios in Orlando, Florida, when Green Day attended the 1998 MTV Music Awards. Tré is godfather to Billie Joe's sons, Joseph and Jakob.
He dressed up as Benji Madden of Good Charlotte for Hallowe'en 2004, and almost made too good a job of it...scary.
Green Day were once asked which movie role they would each like to play, if they could play any role in history. Billie Joe and Mike both chose Austin Powers; Tré said he would like to be Catwoman... He loves golf.
Mike, Billie Joe and Tré all had tattoos of the letters "EBPM" (East Bay Punk Mafia) while they were making American Idiot. Tré was the only one to have it done with a beautifully executed picture of a television being thrown through a window, though... Tré once milked a dog. He wanted some milk in his coffee, but the house he was staying at didn't have any. They did, however, have a dog who had recently had puppies...it's the way the dog is standing for him, and the expression on her face, that amuses me. You can almost hear her thinking, "Oh, go on, then..."
Tré has a healthily open mind, both about ghosts and his lifestyle...

Tré's favourite drink is a tequila cocktail called the Cheech.
