Theres no doubt that police officers have probably had to endure several nosefulls of bad breath when theyre trying to find out if a driver has been drinking. But a man from the Barrie, Ont. area has raised the stink bar to its highest level.
The 59-year-old alleged drunk driver tried to trick a police breathalyzer by stuffing his own feces inside his mouth.
The man was arrested Sunday when authorities pulled his Ford pickup truck over on a highway outside of Barrie, and the purportedly intoxicated motorist was hauled into the local station for testing.
The trip to the police post wasnt a pleasant one. The man vomited, and soiled himself in the back of the cruiser. When they finally arrived at their destination, he allegedly grabbed a handful of his own waste and put it in his mouth.
It didnt work. The driver was charged with impaired driving, and the cops were left with one big cleaning bill.
