In 1993, a band called "Stone Garden" was started by Pierre Bouvier, and Charles ("Chuck") Comeau. Jean-François ("Jeff") Stinco joined the band soon after. Pierre was the singer. The group changed its name to "Roach" until 1995 until they discovered that an American band already had that name as their band. Philippe Jolicoeur joined the band in 1994. They all decided to start over, so they named their band "Reset". The first members of Reset were Pierre Bouvier (lead vocals), Phil Jolicoeur (guitar/vocals), Chuck Comeau (drums), JS Boileau (bass). They successfully recorded a complete album of 12 songs. A few years later, JS left the group, and Chuck got kicked out because he often got in arguments with Pierre. Pierre wrote a song called "Friend" in adition to this. Adrian White joined the band to replace Chuck (Adrian, drummer from Vancouver). The parts were changed to: Pierre - lead vocals/bass, Phil - guitar/vocals, Adrian - drums. The recorded an album called "No Limits." The album shows the evolution of the group. It left only 7 months after it was recorded. Pierre left the group because he didn't get along very well with Adrian White. He was replaced by a bassist named David Desrosiers who played bass and sang for the group. Chuck Comeau decided to form his own band with Pierre. They named it "Simple Plan." They recuited guitar players, Sebastien Lefebvre and Jeff Stinco soon after. David Desrosiers quit Reset and joined Simple Plan instead (playing bass guitar). Adrian left Reset as well because he felt he couldn't manage with Phil. He was replaced by drummer, Julien Blais. Reset made a new CD called "Radioactive". New members have joined Reset since then.
