Facebook user Angelo Montero is reporting an unexpected but welcoming spy shot. Apparently, a very G1 Optimus-looking truck is being hauled across Canada (judging by the uniformed police officer), presumably to the filming location of Transformers 7. The truck is mostly covered up, but a torn piece of the covering reveals a red body. In addition to that, a Bull Bar is retrofitted to the front of the truck. Thanks again to 2005 Board member opoptimus who has posted in our forums a new English translation of an interview with Takara Tomy designer Shogo Hasui. This interview was originally published in the Japanese magazine Figure King #270 in July 2020. The source of the first translation (in Chinese) comes from ‘Cybertron 600'' on Weixin. Third party company Banana Force have uploaded via their Facebook account images of the color prototype of their next action figure: MPL-04 Great Basstor (G1 Optimus Prime). This is the latest installment in Banana Force high detailed non-transforming action figures made of ABS and die-cast. Great Basstor is a modern and stylized rendition of G1 Optimus Prime. While still recognizable as the heroic Autobot leader, it features some new design elements like two small wings on his back. A redeco/remold of Kingdom Sideswipe, Red Alert looks very faithful to his G1 incarnation indeed. A redeco of the previous Studio Series Starscream, this should help in filling out the Seeker ranks from the Bumblebee movie.
