This figure is a shiny gold redeco of Newage’s H27 David (Legends Scale G1 Optimus Prime) inspired by the classic G1 episode The Golden Lagoon. Via Transformers Peru we have our first world sighting of the new Transformers Authentics Cybertron Battlers. These simple and affordable action figures were found at Oeschle stores in Lima, Peru. These figures were revealed while back in January this year together with other Authentics products. There are three Evergreen Transformers figures: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Megatron. Each figure has 5 articulation points and they come with no packaging at all, inside an Authentics display box with 6 figures (2 of each character). Artist Ken Christiansen, via his social media channels, have shared images of his concept art of the Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee Fangry. This figure was included in the Target Exclusive Buzzworthy Bumblebee Worlds Collide 4-pack. We have a look at the early idea of both alt and robot modes, basically a retool of Titans Return Grotusque.
