The official Good Smile Company and Sentinel websites have revealed new images of the new Nendoroid G1 Megatron. This is a cute “chibi-style” representation of the Decepticon commander. It was first teased when Nendoroid G1 Optimus Prime was revealed. Megatron will come with several interchangeable hands and an interchangeable angry face. According to the information shared in Good Smile Company English website, Nendoroid Megatron will have a pre-order period from January 7th to February 7th, 2022 and an estimated shipping date by May, 2022.  See all the cute mirrored images after the break and let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

A new rumor is floating around via the NY Post which has Hasbro pulling out of New York Toy Fair next month due to ongoing pandemic concerns.  This would have been their return to the main exhibit hall in the Javits Center for the first time in over 10 years.  Hasbro has yet to make a statement to confirm this, so things may change.  Until then, prepare for another round of virtual reveals in place of our normal February surprises.

Getsuei is the second figure of the G1 Japan Trainbot team following Shouki. Last year saw a big loss in the passing of long time Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner.  His vision transitioned Hasbro from a toy company to the one we see today, focusing on brands and entertainment in addition to our plastic goodies.  Today the company has named Chris Cocks the new CEO.  He was previously President and CEO of Wizards of the Coast and Digital Gaming division, where he expanded properties like Magic the Gathering into even more successful parts of the company.  Interim CEO Rich Stoddart will step down in February and become Chair of the Board. Once again we have new images of a possible color prototype/sample of a new Masterpiece Cliffjumper figure. This time we have a nice set of comparison images side by side with Masterpiece MP-45 Bumblebee 2.0 in both modes. We can spot all the retooled parts and changes in Cliffjumper and we can notice its a very extensive retool, more noticeable in the alt mode which looks very cartoon-accurate and completely different from Bumblebees VW Beetle mode. Sideshow has shared out a teaser shot for a new designer collectible from Unruly Industries. Artist SketOne has Optimus Prime ready for tagging battle with a gas mask (over top his face shield, cant be too careful) a paint roller for getting that fresh canvas and blaster.
