This AMV is about Kiriyama and his life as a shogi player. His life isn't easy. He comes from a distorted family and things he doesn't belong anywhere. Shogi is the only thing he can hold onto but what if he loses that too?
This is his story of how he learns to love himself and the people around him.
It can be interpreted in different ways though. It also tells about Kyouko toxic relation with her boyfriend, Hinata's history with bullying and of course Kiriyama's relationship with shogi. Every relationship has impact on the other.

Hi! I'm back!
The title "Art of listening" is the emblem of the meaning that I wanted to represent through this video.
We always think of ourselves, surrounded by a world that is not on our side, forgetting that we are not alone. Everyone has their own problems, their fears, their dreams and their regrets.
The story is about a boy who after years realizes how much he took his partner for granted.
Alienated from his own life without thinking about the feelings of the person who has always been by his side. Only after listening to the words of his partner in a cassette, he realizes that he was wrong and wasted time.
The song tries to emphasize the concept.

Hey yo! That's the vid I enjoyed the most doing and I honestly think it's also my masterpiece (for the moment). The plot itself made me trully involved while making it and I filled it with all my passion and love for details. I don't know if you're going to share this thought but i'm trully satisfied with it and if I can ask you something is to take a moment to focus on what's done here, because this is probably a vid that if you want to appreciate to his fullest you have to watch it with a critical eye more than once ( Then you can always say: Dafaq u're saying, that's bullshit, and I'll still love you after that ^^). This is also my last vid as an RP member, I'm sad about that but I think that when something is broken you have to move forward and that's what we did, I still wish them all the best and I hope we'll stay in contact, with a different type of relationship.
Notes: Even if I didn't respect a cronological order for all the facts because my intention was to show the major facts happened, all battles reported in the vid are real and they had an importan role in WW2, in particular the Stalingrad battle was one of the first and biggest defeat of Germany. If you have any questions i'll be glad to answer, hope you guys like it ^^

Thanks to my three amazing partners for this collaboration work, this could not be done without any of each participant's hard work and dedication.
Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we had experienced many setbacks in the process of making and finally this project was completed at the last minute of the contest deadline. We were very surprised at this unexpected good results in the end! The competition is as fierce as of last year. Many of the entries were just breathtaking and I was deeply touched by the passion, creativity and overflowing emotion that were conveyed through all these works. I sincerely hope that TOS Contest will continue to thrive on in future and I hope that I can continue my enthusiasm of MAD/AMV for the years to come.

: So, usually when I abandon a project I just completely stop and usually archive it to look at later. This time is a bit different, I wanted to "complete" this video just so I could move on. I got tired of working on it and really didn't want to put forth any effort to try to improve it.
This was an idea that's been in my head for awhile and when I heard of the 2017 "remake" of Kino's journey I wanted to take a crack at it. Also, I needed a video to submit to NDK and the idea for the video seemed simple enough to complete in the three weeks I had before the deadline. Boy was I wrong.
I kind of wish I could have made the entire video using footage from the newer series, the art style between the two is so radically different. I also wish I could have done a better job of finding a way to separate footage between the two series. My fear was constantly cutting between the two would be a bit confusing and inconsistent.
Unfortunately my desire to make those changes no longer exists so this video is what it is.

A Little Tribute to Hige |

While watching “Wolf's Rain” (such a wonderful anime!), Hige became one of my favorite characters. I was inspired to create some AMV. The choice fell on the sweet song "Lemon Tree" by Fools Garden, because the lead voice seemed to me suitable for Hige. So the kinda of lip-syncing tribute was born. Enjoy watching!
