Комментарий автора: A couple of years ago I made 2006AD, a video so named because it was an eleven year old idea that I'd been sitting on until I finally knuckled down and birthed it into the world. Finally finishing that idea that had been germinating in my head so long was a huge relief, like a weight lifted off my shoulders and offered out to the world, like a really heavy bird that's been living in your attic, eating all your old books. And all it took was going up there one day and opening a window to rid of it.
Naturally, I have a lot of theoretical birds in my hypothetical attic, so I figured I'd take this opportunity to deal with some of the especially heavy ones.
Which leads me to Kurozuka, a source that I have juggled between various hard drives since some time around 2009 or 2010. I am and always have been a pack rat and sometimes I latch onto a source even if I don't have specific plans for it.
At some point I attached it to this show and every time I happened across this song, I'd be reminded of this video idea and think "...maybe, eventually."
And then I made Hemoptysis, which is very much in the same vein as this idea, so maybe I didn't have to make this Kurozuka video after all. But...I still thought it might be good.
So early last month I said to hell with it and dug it out, encoded it, and got to work.
Unfortunately, it wasn't until I was neck deep in the project that I realized that the visual quality of these files I'd been hoarding were not great. But there wasn't much I could do about it because at this point, no one on earth besides me remembers this show, so it wasn't feasible to find a better copy.
That being said, you'll just have to deal with that and take the visual quality as a signifier of exactly how old this video is (in spirit).

Tfw you use Lugia's song but don't feature it in the video.
Made this for the r/Pokemon discord channel's Pokemon video editing contest and I obviously wanted to make a music video for it LOL.
This AMV is a mess because I tried to fit two legends from the Pokemon series into one cause one was too short and two were too long for the song. Plus I tried to kind of relate them to one another cause I found them quite similar in some ways.
Made within a few days. Focused a lot on the atmosphere of the song over anything else.

Another amv where I fell in love with the song and wanted to express its emotions with visuals. With Yuri On Ice I found the perfectly fitting source. Gladly it didn't turn out too gay...I hope...I just wanted to show the relationship of the characters! don't blame me!!!1! :D:D
Actually I started this project more than 2,5 years ago. At some point 2 years ago it was already 90% finished and some people gave their thoughts on it. Then nothing happened any more. Not because I got sick of the video or the song. I just didn't want to rush it to be finished just because I felt I had to. Then miracuously few weeks ago I told myself to finish it. And here it is.
Now every last of my remainig open projects are finished and I can freshly start something new.
