This was my 6th AMV overall, and one of my most adorable projects ever! (Well, really this took quite a while due to storage space and many bugs, but it was worth it b/c I looooooovve this movie and the song choice!)

I'm really happy with the way this video turned out. When I first started editing it, I decided that I wanted it to be as jarring and off-putting as possible. My intention was for the video to make people so uncomfortable that they'd hate it, and even hate me for making it. And so the scene at 2:40 was actually the first thing I edited. But as I finished more of it, I decided that I still wanted the video to be well-edited, and so my new goal became to keep the video just as unsettling, but well-edited enough that people would be still forced to appreciate it even if they dislike the content. Based on the reviews that I got during the AWA P.R.O competition, I think I accomplished that goal pretty well :-)

After winning that contest and ascending to Valhalla, I realized I'd never actually listened to anything by Spoon outside of that album (Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga). So I picked up Gimme Fiction, and after the first listen I knew I had to do something with this song, although it took this long to get around to it.

I fell in love with Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions when I watched it last year, so I wanted to make at least one video using it as a source. I actually ended up making three, one each using the first season, the second season, and the movie. This video uses the movie. It's basically just a simple retelling of the story in the movie, focusing on Rikka and Yuuta's relationship -- fun, cute, and heartwarming...all that good stuff. I hope you enjoy!

Работы на конкурс принимаются до 7 июня включительно, к участию допускаются эксклюзивные клипы, которые ранее не публиковались в сети. Принимается одна работа от одного участника. Результаты конкурса будут объявлены в ходе конвента (2-5 июля), победителей по традиции ожидают призы (аниме-фигурки).

Salut la compagnie! Oui je sais, ça fait un bail.
Bon pour la ptite histoire l'idée du clip remonte à avant Infinite Gate , mais bon j'étais pris (les cours , projets , la famille , puis drop sur drop ) et là j'me suis deter sur quelque moment de temps libre pour faire ce méchant clip sur omega. T'façon Saint Seiya c'est la vie mais bordel comment ça ma soûler parceque la zik me bloquait sur certains moment puis des fois j'galèrais pour les scènes fallait un peu plus les taffer et en valeur ajouté des overlays par ci par ci.
Bref, j'aime bien ce clip c'est un bon retour en perspective. J’espère que vous allez kiffer!

Imagine: You are falling asleep while watching a strange TV show about dreams. Will the last memories/pictures follow you into your own dream?
My inspiration came from the boardgames "Etherfields" and there "theme". So i tryed to find a fitting song and anime. I mixed up two storys in Genius Party Beyond and everything pre-planed worked out better than expected.
Overall i am very happy with this AMV and its for me a sum-up for what i learnd over this year. (Storytelling, Mirrors, Composi. and dont overdo things).
Hope you like and if you spotted the hidden frog-plush at the beginning, you will fully recover karmapoints!

Визуальный стиль автора оригинальной манги, заставляет бежать в ужасе всех желающих сделать клип, хотя ничего страшного там нет. Простенький и старенький, но сделан с нежными чувствами к оригиналу. Это лучшее, что я увидел на мангу Dorohedoro.

Комментарий автора: "This is my entry for this year's cyberpunk edition of Polish B.A.K.A Y2k12 convention. Even though it placed 3rd, I'm really proud of the outcome as for a little bit more than 7 days of editing.
About footage, these are simply cyberpunk classics which were also basics for the Iron Chef taking place at the convention. Music is an awesome remix of the Prison Break Theme by Ferry Corsten.
It's one of those few videos that make me happy with being released. I somehow feel like a winner (I even got a first place prize for taking part in voting, so lucky!), despite the video placing 3rd. Special thanks goes to Sayco who enabled me to place both 1st and 3rd!"
